I've wondered for years why all the news (for me it was only fox) was 99% this:

Anchor (wearing glam makeup): Somebody said this or that, what is your reaction?

Guest: responds with something that sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher.

And this passed as news? Who cares what their reaction is. Just give me the news.....like, for instance, what John Solomon is doing.

I must admit I was addicted to that gossip for years. Where else could we go?

Happy to report that I am almost 3 months sober now and in these dark days...I've never felt better in my life.
