I don't want to bore you guys with the details. The feelings are a bit raw, but I'd bet most people here can sympathize. The weird part is that I don't even think I'm hurt or mad. I may have actually gotten used to people close to me suddenly deciding that they think I'm a nazi or something. I think I'm actually relieved because now I don't have any social groups left except my church. It was the last pocket of my life that was trying to shame me into capitulation and degeneracy.
Because of a mix of reasons, the only Trump rally I went to was the STS rally on Jan 6th. That was the first time in YEARS that I felt like I was surrounded by people who understand me. Can some nothern state hurry up and secede so I can have a destination to which I can move? I want to live in a whole community full of you people.
In an effort to actually keep this post relevant to the forum: Do we actually have any level of organization for a secessionist movement? Every conversation I see just turns into "DO IT AT THE COUNTY LEVEL" and I can't shake the feeling that we'll need a bit more scale than that. If we want to succeed, we'll probably have to get people who want to secede to relocate to a specific state (or states, ideally), and we'll probably have to do it while the energy is still high, and before the gulags become too real.

I had an ex-liberal try refriend me told after he called me so many nasty names. I was like "Nah, I am good. I liked the last 2 yrs of never talking. See ya never." Blocked him, and his wife. 20yrs "friendship" don't care.. see ya! Samething with several others. Bye bye.
My friends do not want to talk to me about politics. It is so sad. I hear you. It is nice to find like minded individuals - who believe in GOOD.
My two closest friends in the world are definitely fairweather Trump supporters. I have no doubt that they both voted for him twice, but they also both tried to talk me out of going to DC.
We're like-minded enough that I can talk politics, but they definitely look at me like I have 3 heads whenever I bring up election fraud. It wears on me.
No more friendships! We want frenships! I'll be your fren.
If you don't mind, did you two slowly drift apart or was there a big showdown of ideologies that ended with a suddent rift being formed? It's always so disheartening to hear, especially when the friendship was deep. Sometimes I think it's possible to put the political stuff aside if they're genuinely a good and compassionate person but other times you gotta cut off the rot and move forwards.
Kind of both? We've been going to a summer camp together since like 2013 or so, in a tight-knit group of friends birthed from that. He's among a 5-person DnD group that has been playing together weekly-ish for a year. He just messaged me a bit ago to say that we're not meeting tomorrow because he needs distance from me specifically.
I don't get political at the table because I know 3 of the 5 are pretty liberal, with him being the worst. He recently decided he wanted different pronouns. Although that never became an issue, I did assume that he had toxic people whispering in his ear, and that my time was coming. I worry for his health.
No offense, but I notice that all of you who talk about losing friends are kind of high on the nerd scale? Go do some manly hobbies, and you will actually meet some real trump supporters. Go buy a boat. You are swimming in soy which produces these freaks.
I am not bagging on DnD or gaming, just saying that unfortunately it is a breeding ground for marxist freaks, just like social media.
Meanwhile, the leftists are really the ones acting like Nazis. BTW, Nazi is left wing.
I know that feel, fren.
Sup fren
I noticed some time ago that all my conversations were turning into politics. I'm usually pretty casual at conveying my point, but It was getting to where I was dominating everyone with an alternative information stream their mind wasn't ready for. Felt like Morpheus jamming red pills down their throat, lol.
