I haven't watched tv on a regular basis in a loooong time.
One thing I have noticed, and I am curious if any of you have experienced this as well; When I talk to people that are liberal that still watch tv and the news regularly, I can tell they are brainwashed to the extreme, no exaggeration, almost every single time.Whenever I try to engage in conversation with them, not being aggressive at all, just talking and making sure I am being respectful while doing so, they still almost always seem to get over-defensive, and when presented with actual facts, they just shut down/ change the subject/ don't want to talk about it anymore.
Has anybody else here had a similar experience?

Same here. Yes 100% brainwashed. When I ask them questions that require answers that go beyond the headline they just have this blank stare... creepy

It sure is an interesting phenomenon. It's like their brains get addicted to propaganda, and they act like an addict about it. Lashing out, do not want to talk about it. The MSM keeps ramping it up, giving them bigger hits. They need some group of people to be bashed everyday, and to be told they are the enemy and responsible for why their lives suck and they feel like shit all the time. Somehow I guess that makes them feel better and gives them the hit they need.

Yep, pretty much Every damn time, I've planted some seeds and people have Red pilled themselves l, but 9 times out of 10 I normally get yelled at for questioning absolutely anything
People watch TV so much they think its reality, a reality that they can turn off or change the channel when they see something they don't like.
Yep, agree with everyone else. They keep repeating tautological mantras & then call for “moderation” of viewpoints when presented with hard facts. I know many intelligent folks, who chose not to think critically about what they’re told.
We now have an entire generation that was raised to believe that pure consensus of sources equates to truth. Yes, cite your source, but what good is it when all the sources just repeat talking points, that are “true because we say it’s true”? What happened to the skepticism of the Bush era; not believing the talking heads and questioning authority? Now it’s all just NPCs guzzling down the programming.
Yupp! One of my close "buddies" said that I was trying to "Ben Shapiro" him. What?! I just asked where he got his sources from. I was genuinely interested.
Apparently he reads "both sides" of the news. But wouldn't give me sources. Yeah... Okay.

Absolutely. At Christmas with my inlaws the wanted to talk about COVID and stated they were ready for things to get back to normal. I asked them if they knew how we could as a country get rid of it in 2 weeks or less. They were all ready for the solution. When I said everybody has to turn their TV off it was like they had been gut punched. Pretty funny because it shines a light on who is indoctrinated and brainwashed.

My lawyer friend took my comments about the courts being corrupt as a personal insult, which I found bizarre. Either she's brainwashed or she's an idiot. Well, or both I suppose.
My mom is glued to the TV all day but it's either reruns of cop shows like JAG, NCIS and Law & Order, or court shows, or the cooking and home remodeling shows.
