I made a comment in another thread, but why is it that Texas needs the federal governments permission to enforce it's own immigration laws? I know it'd be expensive for the state to fund it's own personal ICE team, but I'm sure they would get lots of donations and volunteers.
If Biden doesn't allow deportations (don't know how he can legally do that, but he's a Democrat) then Texas needs to tighten up their employment laws. If someone hires an illegal alien, they need to be fined until they bleed, maybe a prison sentence, go after the owner and HR departments personally. If possible, extract taxes from the illegal aliens who've been working under the table while you toss them in prison. Do the same with renting to an illegal alien, or the ones who pop out anchor babies and use them to collect welfare (while their husband works under the table tax-free). If they want welfare for their kids, the kids will have to go into foster care, not one penny goes to their illegal alien parents. It's very sad for the children, but their parents have put them in this terrible situation because their parents broke the law.
If they can't get jobs, houses, and welfare in Texas, they'll go elsewhere. Then legal citizens can have those jobs. Just like that chicken factory in Miss, where hundreds of citizens showed up the day after the ICE raid looking for work. Incidentally, this is also something Patriot candidates can use as law-and-order, job-promoting candidates. Promise you won't stay silent while people break the law and leave citizens in the poor house.
I'm moving to Texas at some point this year. Getting the hell out of Commiefornia. I tried my best to contribute to the Turn California Red effort, but fuck it, I'm out! This place is a lost cause!

Is it possible to set up a state level electoral vote? So instead of just popular vote accross the state for electoral votes, each county would get a certain number of 'electoral' votes that are assigned based on the county level popular vote. This would counter the massive federal immigration to stuff the electoral vote problem.

I live in Cali and was born in south Chicago in 67. Cali has amazing climate and areas but this gov is so fucked. Rather than hope someone makes the next civil movement begin running away, for now, is the best thing. I despise Austin. I'm from one of the reddest places in San Diego county-the mountains. We can't keep letting the left stal all the fucking coast and borders though.
Most of those counties have fewer than 2000 people in them. All dem power here comes from 4 counties Bexar (San Antonio), Travis (austin), Harris (houston), and Dallas counties. Cameron (brownsville) at the tip along with El paso are distant 5th and 6th. It's the local politics that are severely crooked down along the border but have little to no impact on national races.
Find the Rio Grande at the southern border. Start at the Gulf and count four counties upstream.
That dark blue splotch is Zapata County. It swung something like 30 percentage points between 2016 and 2020 in Trump's favor.
The Hispanics that live in these southern counties aren't illegal aliens. They are American citizens and Texans who are waking up and are no longer buying the enslaving lie of identity politics.
