Convicting Trump in Senate would guarantee a 3rd party. Trump can easily destroy him and the entire Republican party if he decides to do so. The 3rd party wouldn't have to win a single election to destroy the Republican party in it's entirety. Siphoning 15-20% of the Republican vote would be enough to block almost all Republicans from federal office. Only the Republicans in the reddest of the red states would survive. Corporate donors and elites don't give money to Republicans that lose. Of course the democrats would completely run the show, but they already do that now.
Trump has weaknesses, like everyone else. One of his weaknesses is likes revenge. Or is that a strength. If you've ever read his books he has entire chapters devoted to the art of revenge. For him it's a science. How to get back at people who mock, impugn, steal, people who block your business deals, or try to destroy you personally. When Obama mocked Trump at the correspondence dinner saying he was a "joke", made fun of him over and over, said he could never be president, the crowd laughed, I could see the wheels turning, he wanted revenge on them.
Based on what I've read in his books, he and his family will be evaluating alternative platforms to see if they are viable alternatives. Is GAB a viable alternative to Twitter? Is there a viable alternative to Facebook? What kind of audience is there in talk radio, how many people could a talk radio show reach? 15 to 45 million in a 3 hour period like Limbaugh. Or would it be more like 5 to 10 million. What about a TV show? He's good on camera and he knows this type of medium. For every social media platform were they've blocked us, he would be looking for alternatives. Not just alternatives, but platforms that have the potential to get big.
Let them delay it. It will be a good redpill as more information about the planned activities of left wing infiltrators becomes available. That and the senate's approval will plummet even more as they put off relief checks to go after Trump.
