As I'm reading: This was written in 2019 and so many of the predictions are already taking place. It's honestly scary and it's reinforcing the need for an exit strategy. I have a decent one in place already but plans can always be better.
There is also the issue of the grit it takes to carry out atrocities. The vast vast majority of Americans don't have the stomach for hardcore violence and combat. Just because people use violent rhetoric and larp as revolutionaries doesn't mean shit. Theyll need people capable of doing real horrors without letting up for a very long time. 75 million trump supporters dead would be a feat for a professional army. A bunch of soft-handed leftist sissies who've never stepped off a sidewalk or missed a meal aren't gonna get it done. And the military (esp the infantry and spec ops) are not commies. So...this article is missing a big part of the picture.
