There is also the issue of the grit it takes to carry out atrocities. The vast vast majority of Americans don't have the stomach for hardcore violence and combat. Just because people use violent rhetoric and larp as revolutionaries doesn't mean shit. Theyll need people capable of doing real horrors without letting up for a very long time. 75 million trump supporters dead would be a feat for a professional army. A bunch of soft-handed leftist sissies who've never stepped off a sidewalk or missed a meal aren't gonna get it done. And the military (esp the infantry and spec ops) are not commies. So...this article is missing a big part of the picture.

They may be soft sissies, but they’re ideologically possessed. People become desensitized to violence pretty fucking fast when they’re thrown into the middle of it, and even faster when they have years of brainwashing telling them “the enemy” are literally the greatest conceivable evil in existence. Make no mistake, the wimpy little loser sipping his soy latte will have no problem killing you and your family once they are given the authority (real or perceived) to do so. Unless groups like Antifa get stamped out real soon, this is all coming a lot sooner than most think.

I wouldn’t count on the military to come out of this on the right side. They follow orders, and the command structure is compromised/corrupt. Some may splinter off to side with patriots, but the majority will not. Police cannot be trusted to do the right thing either.

If you haven’t already, give the book “Ordinary Men” by Christopher R. Browning, a read.

In my experience the opposite is true for most people. You can take a gung-ho marine who's been thinking about killing terrorists his whole life and stick him in a combat zone and still end up with a shattered psyche. Imagining combat and watching people die is in a different universe than watching it up close and doing it yourself. Just the sight/smell of large amounts of blood and severely injured bodies is enough to fuck with some people.

The other issue is if there is some attempt at mass murders the victims are unlikely to be passive, and most coffee shop types are highly fearful people in my experience. American decadence makes people, especially the young, extremely naive to violence and danger. Theyre afraid of the dark. Most of the examples of mass murders in the past were perpetrated by already hardboiled people who had lived through war and real hardship. The latte sippers would cheer it on from afar, to be sure, but I dont think they'd be capable of carrying it out themselves. Hence why the new left in the 60's wanted blacks to be the militia to do the killing and dying for them.
