I think there are many signs that what has happened in the past is about to happen again. Bit I think its like marx said, history repeats itself first as tragedy then as farce. I think this potential progressive revolution is a farce. The more realistic view of the situation, imo, is that the neoliberal establishment wants the anti-establishment left and right fighting each other, each viewing the other as either "nazis" or blood thristy communists. Meanwhile, in reality they are each only a tiny minority. We worry and lash out at each other while they plunder the country.
