Wait you mean you can't do it with property? Write off depreciation/appreciation(?), write off mortgage interest, mortgage payments, any utilities, fixes, town taxes, any profits from property get taken out from the LLC owning the property to a c-corp where you can maximize tax benefits.
You don't make a lot on rent (unless your mortgage is paid off) but its the tax benefits where you rake it in while it increases in value and you build equity.

I want to get started in real estate for wealth and tax purposes, but my family is all blue collar checking account style people so no help. WHERE DO I EVEN START? is there a book I can learn about company formation to hold real estate? Do I call an accountant? Do I just pay taxes and assume Im not allowed in the club?
You start small by renovating a house and renting out to people you personally vet.
Everyone starts off more or less that way, since you want to be the one doing the maintenance yourself. It's not just to defray costs, but to make sure you have knowledge of facility maintenance and construction so you don't get cheated by contractors in the future as your properties grow and you hire help.
This is how I started. A few tips:
Ideal property is a 3 bedroom 1.5 to 2 bath ranch style house. It will be easiest to sell if you ever want/need to sell.
Make sure the house is structurally sound - solid foundation, level, roof doesn't sag, no rot, no insects. If you think remodeling is expensive, try repairing/replacing a foundation, or leveling a sagging roof.
Make sure the house has city services - no septic tank or well.
Make sure the wiring is up to date. A lot of 1970s houses have aluminum wiring, which is a disaster. You're better with a house with 1950s wiring than one with aluminum wires. Under no circumstances purchase a place with knob and tube. EDIT: I did once putchase a place that had knob and tube, but it passed every other test, and I got it for less than a penny on the dollar.
Make sure there are no major plumbing issues unless you enjoy tearing out walls and ceilings.
When renovating, remember that you are renovating for renters, not for yourself. That means keeping as much of the existing house as possible. If you have to replace anything, replace it cheap - renters are just going to fuck it up anyway.
Craigslist is a great source of free building materials.
Get building permits for all the work.
Vet potential renters thoroughly - this is where most people fuck up. Do credit and criminal background checks on every adult that will be living there.
Use a professional lease from the local rental property association, not some shit you download off the internet.
Repair any problems immediately. You owe your tenants a safe, well maintained place to live.
Stick to the letter of the lease. Give tenants no slack. Three days late on rent? Pay up or vacate notice on the door on day four. Begin eviction proceedings on the earliest day possible if they haven't paid by then. NEVER take partial payment.
EDIT Also, never buy in a shitty neighborhood. A neighborhood in transition can be OK, if you are prepared to take the hit if it doesn't transition, but NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy in the hood.

Free market principles prevent this from occurring. If China for whatever reason "turned off the miners" (not all miners are in China btw), it would simply immediately open the door for competition. The lack of hash power would make mining in other areas (that previously couldn't compete with China's subsidized electricity) profitable literally overnight.

In late twenties, I did not even know there was a Uniparty until Trump, and thought that the republicans were actually for the people when I first voted which was John McCain(Yeah I knew nothing about what he was at the time). Was already in my twenties at that point.
I still take it as my responsibility though. Not saying those younger are responsible, but a lot of us are old enough to have done something. Too have verified who we were electing.
God gave us Trump, and because of Trump we got all of us together and awake. This problem has been decades in the making, and we do have to suffer the consequences. The thing is we now have a genuine affect, and the Biden regime is going to add more people. The last 4 years we been doing a lot of work planting the seeds, and this regime is going to be the water for the seeds growth.

All you would have to do is transfer wealth to a corporation based out of another country to manage your capital, and poof, you have no investments that can realize gains. Hell, in the worst case you can just denounce citizenship and more somewhere more tax friendly, while still maintaining any businesses you own in the US. They can't tax you if you're not subject to their jurisdiction.
You can renounce citizenship and be subject to exit tax if you’re a covered expatriate... but if you transfer wealth to a non-US corporation to avoid tax and don’t comply properly you’re going to be subject to punitive and expensive tax reporting at best and if you don't comply fraudulent penalties at worst (jail time).

Usually you only pay taxes on profits when the profit is realized. Say I buy Coke at 1000 dollars, it goes up to 1200 dollars, but I do not sell my stock. I dont have to pay taxes on it until I sell the stock and cash out, at which point, I would pay Capital Gains on the 200 profit. What they are suggesting is that even if I do not sell my stock, I would have to pay taxes on the 200 dollars in gains on the stock.
And then you don't get those taxes back when it drops back to 1000.

This has been why I have wondered just how well crypto will do in case of a market crash. In theory it should do well because it was meant to be independent of things like the stock market, but because it has been institution based in the past 4 years it has closely followed the stock market’s ups and downs
They will delist crypto from the stock markets and make it a condition of operating under any business license that crypto can not be accepted as payment. That will pretty much end it.

I think this was based on Ron Wyden's (D-OR) idea a few years back to mark to market unrealized cap gains and tax them as income. It'd be income and wealth based (so prolly kicks in at many millions) and not include primary residence or 401ks (per the original proposal).
California had a similar proposal to tax wealth at some % that kicks in above 15m (30m if married... I guess you need to go halfsies with the wife :)) but it probably won't ever happen cause it's not very popular except on the far left.
The theory is that super rich people get most of their wealth from unrealized gains which are taxed low, whereas normal people get most of their "wealth" from income which is taxed much higher. Also, when you die the tax basis of holdings is reset so you effectively never pay taxes on those gains.
So as an example, if I give my kid a $5m trust with a bunch of stock. They borrow against it and get, say, 150k/year (3%) and essentially have "no income." Then they just sell the holdings at the best time to pay off the margin but keep the amount low so the LT cap gain taxes stay reasonable (15% ish). If they do this for 30 years and their 5m goes to 15m and they give that to their kids; the tax base on the stock resets and the 10m capital gain from 5m-15m is never taxed (estate taxes for married people kick in at 23.4m in 2021).
I don't think it's a good idea and there's always a slippery slope with taxes (i.e. AMT), but I think that's what Yellen is responding to.
