Some old school SNL comedians like Rob Schneider, Dennis Miller and Norm MacDonald were so great, and totally based. Not sure where Carvey stands, but I've heard him on Norm's podcasts and I wouldn't be surprised if he's based too, but doesn't express it like the others I mentioned. Comedy has totally lost itself in the modern age...nothing remotely funny in the idiotic excuse for comedy these leftist dumbasses churn out.
