I was filling out an application for something and when it got to the "Sex" question, there were a few options. I took out my Sharpie and crossed out two of them, leaving only "Male" or "Female" as options. And then I checked "Female". I did this almost automatically, it was like something in me just rose up and resisted. I'm not usually the type to be that petty. Now I'm not necessarily proud of that, but I'm also not ashamed. I'm just really, really, REALLY tired of this being shoved down our throats. I dont care what people do, or how they identify, but I wish they wouldnt force those of us who choose to just follow science and the Natural Order of things, to accept cognitive dissonance (and arguably, mental illness). Plot Twist: Before accusing me of being a bigot, I'm a black woman. Who never cared anything about trans people, my attitude has always been "live and let live", but now I'm at the point where I just really want the loud and aggressive ones to go away, just fade from the fabric of society and how we shape policy.
** Also, I implore women of any race to really check on how trans men impinge on our sex based rights. Not all, but some of them want to erase what it means to be a woman.
There's more to being a woman than throwing on a dress, some lipstick, and a pair of heels.
Amazing story. What I've learned is you can't apply logic to the left as they are either power hungry or just insane.
The left: you can't DEFINE a woman with physical attributes. Also the left: "transwoman" are woman but ONLY if they present physically as a woman.
A good thought puzzle for them, define a woman but without referencing men.
What a big scam. We used to have facilities for insane people but now they run the show. It's the most obsurd clown world, but other civilizations in history have become obsessed with sex. I relate it all back to the decline in morals which I attribute to falling away from God.
I think there's gonna be backlash. They already talk about how Gen Z and older millenials are expected to be the most conservative in a long time. As a an older millenial - CAN CONFIRM. I relate to most people in my age group and those about 10 years older, but the younger millenials really piss me off and I strive to do everything they hate. Which is EVERYTHING, because they hate everything.
