I was filling out an application for something and when it got to the "Sex" question, there were a few options. I took out my Sharpie and crossed out two of them, leaving only "Male" or "Female" as options. And then I checked "Female". I did this almost automatically, it was like something in me just rose up and resisted. I'm not usually the type to be that petty. Now I'm not necessarily proud of that, but I'm also not ashamed. I'm just really, really, REALLY tired of this being shoved down our throats. I dont care what people do, or how they identify, but I wish they wouldnt force those of us who choose to just follow science and the Natural Order of things, to accept cognitive dissonance (and arguably, mental illness). Plot Twist: Before accusing me of being a bigot, I'm a black woman. Who never cared anything about trans people, my attitude has always been "live and let live", but now I'm at the point where I just really want the loud and aggressive ones to go away, just fade from the fabric of society and how we shape policy.

** Also, I implore women of any race to really check on how trans men impinge on our sex based rights. Not all, but some of them want to erase what it means to be a woman.

There's more to being a woman than throwing on a dress, some lipstick, and a pair of heels.

I don't blame you! I would be inclined to do the same. As yourself, I am the 'live and let live' type, but the constant bombardment of this nonsense is really getting to be a bit over the top. One day 'they' might get the idea that no matter how much they 'force' this on the rest of us, it will NEVER truly be accepted as the absolute norm throughout; nothing outside the Natural Order of things ever is accepted as such and shouldn't ever be with this matter either.

Then again, when we have people having 'relationships' with inanimate objects and even marrying them in some cases, we must understand that we are IN the Twilight Zone.

Several Cases in point:

"The lights of her life! Woman in an open relationship with her CHANDELIERS reveals she is now 'engaged' to one of her fittings (but takes the other one to bed)"

"15 People Who Married Inanimate Objects"

Strange Times Indeed.

Going to check these out. I agree with you wholeheartedly - do you ever wonder if 50-100 years from now, historians will look back and write papers on how our society blatantly ignored the severe mental crisis of identity politics, and instead of providing a certain segment of mentally ill people with body dysmorphia, we further encouraged it to their detriment?

Before I kicked my severely leftist half brother to the curb, I told him that I just love how people who push these trans agendas and call the rest of us "bigots" and "homophobes" just completely ignore the real issue of the high rate of suicide amongst trans folks.

It's like, its trendy for them to push it, but when it really comes down to helping the people or caring about their REAL concerns, they are AWOL. For instance, dont you think they'd instead push the need for their trans friends to have appropriate mental care to avoid suicide, as opposed to worrying about whether or not they can share the shower or bathroom with natural females?

But then again, I guess they have to steer clear of mental health because it would expose the fact that it's a mental illness.

Notice how rarely BRUCE JENNER, THE MALE FORMER ATHLETE is mentioned. "Kaitlyn Jenner" was all the hype and all the rave, but now, no one seems to care much about Bruce Jenner, and in fact, the last time I heard of him, it seems he wasn't doing so well, mentally.

big surprise!
