I think there is good reason for some to be upset with how Trump ended things.
He pardoned the wrong people, didn't even bother pardoning the right people; anyone locked onto a LARP feel betrayed, his staff called out the rioters and condemned them,

For me, while I understand there's reason to be upset, I didn't exactly expect Trump to be perfect because he wasn't. He tried his best and that's what mattered.
Unlike most, I don't worship him. That's against my moral code. Hero worship leads to an infection that often sprouts the seeds of Tyrants. Trump's character was good, that's now for certain but I will never blindly follow a man like a worthless fanboy and unfortunately, that's what a lot of these people did.
Trump can still be a champion of our movement, that is certain - but he is no god and we shouldn't ever rely on just him. Too many did so and all it got them was depression and the feeling of betrayal.

They have a very active Telegram page. I have not seen anything anti Trump posted.
Read who they talked to. They cited names of Proud Boys hierarchy. Not just random comments online
