I mostly agree with the article. Recently I was talking with an Iranian and he pointed out the fact that Shah had talked about getting off the petrodollar and that was when we turned against him. Not sure if Carter solely to blame as I posted about cia and whoever controls them

The petrodollar is a serious issue...

And when the US becomes 'energy sufficient' itself - the economic board changes... fewer 'new USD' cross into the middle east.

Luckily the USD is the reserve currency in world trade not just in petro - and every time there is upheaval 'people run to the dollar' on every continent.

Conversely when times are good and Trade is massive - more dollars flow out of the US and toward foreign lands... boosting USD reserves overseas. AGAIN boosting the USD as world reserve currency.

We have the World economy coming and going.... the EURO is to small... and the Chinese Yuan is 100% controlled by a COMMUNIST REGIME... you going to do a deal in YUAN???

Some people are beginning to see the US DEBT as actually 'WORLD DEBT" - so (sadly and immorally) we may be able to take the Debt up to 100 Trillion - and just LOCK long term interest rates at 1% 'forever'
