With Common Core standards and a national department of education, and a cabal of textbook publishers, unions, and state boards... there is precious little the local school board can do regarding curriculum.
That said, I agree with you... but in the short term... home school or private.
Oh I know I know. But we shouldn't let them have everything. They have to government the courts all the entertainment... we have to start getting it back but our leaders are being super quiet right now.
