I have almost completely unplugged from Hollywood. No cable TV, for over a decade now. No newspapers or magazines. Facebook, Twitter, etc... banned.

I get information from sources I trust.

The only issue with freeing yourself from the programming is realizing that you cannot reveal who you are for fear of being turned upon.

Like, I can't tell people that the reason there are so many gay men is because there are so many child rapists raping young boys. I can't say things like, "If we wanted to save America, we would focus on eliminating pre-marital sex and extra-marital relations and abolishing divorce."

These things are so obvious to anyone who hasn't been brainwashed, but truth is an act of insurrection nowadays. Somehow, stating obvious facts makes me a traitor to the founding principles of this country? Like Thomas Jefferson was really about letting men rape little boys?!?

The only positive is people know there's something strange about me, so they sometimes ask me who I really am, and if I can trust them, I might share with them a kernel of truth, something their mind can handle. If I ever go too far, they tend to withdraw for fear that they might hate themselves.

By the way, the truth you all need to hear right now: The best way forward is to accept Trump as a dictator. We can talk about restoring the republic at some future date after all the traitors are dead. That might take a long time. But there is nothing magical about democracy, in fact, it is quite poisonous.
