I am genuinely getting upset with sjw’s who treat me like I’m some child needing protection from the big meanies who appropriate minority cultures. Many examples I see are performed with such tact and sophistication by people who probably have more reverence for my own ancestors’ culture than I do. I’m honoured, honestly, when people take such a concerted effort in showcasing their love and interest, and I’ve just about had it with the people who call them out for it. Too many of them act like they understand the culture well enough to speak on their and my behalf. Truth be told, too many have no idea. To speak for an entire group as though they understand anything about them is the true cultural appropriation. They do not speak for me.
