Something I've noticed is the reticence to give a direct answer (eg. "both parties cheat", etc.) because they're wary of the environment they've created, where things you say today can be weaponised against you in unpredictable ways at some point in the future.

They aren't confident that the victory was legal, and they're worried about being on record saying that it was, especially when so many of us (from around the world!) were on record saying it was stolen from much earlier on. It's as much as admitting, internally, that those they look down on as 'dumb, backwards right-wing rednecks' were smarter and more perceptive than they were.

But cognitive dissonance won't allow for such introspection, and they'll sheet the blame home to "muh no evidence" and claim that we couldn't have known we were right before they did, we were just blustering. Then continue on life with their warped worldview.

You can see it in everything they say and do. They have a big fat legitimacy problem, they know it, and they know absolutely everybody else knows it, too.

As pissed off as I've been since election day at the sheer audacity of it all, here we are where the rubber meets the road and I find this all fascinating to watch more than anything.
