Hello everyone. I'm seriously considering running for house of representatives in NH. I've been a supporter of Trump since around April of 2015. Everyone here opened my eyes to politics and the swamp that it has become. I'm 28yrs old, married, 2 kids under 2yr, fiscally responsible, gun owner and supporter, and I love America! I have a helluva clean record and currently a federal employee at a low level 3 letter agency (you all hate me when you travel.) I want to make a difference in this country and show that NH can have a great representative! I'll throw this out now because I believe in transparency: I don't have much money to spend and I don't think that's a problem. I am not afraid to stand up for what I believe in.

Thank you for reading. I would love any input on where to start, contacts and anything wis else you guys can think of.

Dan. NH lifetime resident.

start doing the rounds at your local chambers, rotary club, churches etc

That's a great idea! I'll reach out to my old boy scouts group and church. I was a scout for 10 years, but not eagle scout. My group is still, mostly, old school scouts.

word of mouth. Find other critical civic groups to network with.

As someone who has done that job, I want to say thank you. That agency is a pile of garbage, but we need more people like you doing it if it’s ever going to get better.

If you are planning a run, jump in as quick as you can. As someone who was involved in a local Republican committee for a while years ago, there’s probably already someone with deep pockets looking at that seat. You can’t match their money, but you can out hustle them.

I wish the agency had more of me too. I do have plenty of passengers tell me how polite I am and that they have had terrible experienced elsewhere.

If I don't want to run an (r) can I "make up" Patriot party and have that show on the ballot?

You’d have to check NH election law when it comes to what line you run on.

Are you looking to primary a RINO, or take out a Dem?

I want to run against Chris Pappas (D nh-1). He talked about $15hr minimum, yet doesn't pay his own employees at The Puritan restaurant $15hr.

Start by getting a meeting with the head of the republican party in your county.

Volunteered for a candidate for state assembly's campaign. We won election day but lost from magical mail in ballots. For his campaign he:

  • mapped out district and literally went to every house to introduce himself and give rundown of his platform
  • sent his political flyer with a personalized letter introducing himself, why he's running and who endorses him (most candidates just send a flyer with their picture and no info, gets tossed in garbage)
  • had team of volunteers calling everyone in district to spread his info
  • went to every community/police meeting (tough to do bc of covid restrictions)
  • made short videos for his social media and also used it to call out his political opponent on his bad policies
  • on election day and early voting went to the polls and talked to everyone in line which - sadly - was most effective as we are a dem district and most are uniformed dems who will hang up phone if you're not a dem. People wearing BLM shirts voted for him after meeting him.

He was very young but ran the best campaign of everyone running including his opponent - a career incumbent who won't talk to his comstituents.
