I'm gonna miss him when he's gone. He's the one that actually started me on my journey to conservativism.

He is a Modern Day Founding Father.

Rush lost me when he went 100% full support for the Iraq war and defended everything GW did. His current logic seems sound and appreciate his work, but that soured me from being all in from Rush.

I think the info we ALL HAD was pretty bad back then.

The Middle East is by and large run by absolute tyrants BECAUSE that is who they are ... remove Saddam and you get Saddam 2.
Take our Gaddafi and you get ISIS.

I was unaware that this was the situation when we went in to Iraq - all I knew was Saddam was a torturer who put enemies into plastic shredder machines... and had built multiple RAPE ROOMS in his palace specifically for raping wives of his political enemies -

So what can I know in 2001?

Well, I for one knew, or at least didn't buy into the BS. We had been hoodwinked enough times to know that the info we did have was suspect. But we were in the new "post-9/11" world and too many were so emotionally scarred to think rationally. Rush should not have been one of them. As the information came out, however, Rush still stood by GW, til the end. I understand your point, but I just can't give Rush a pass on that one, he's too smart.

Islamists don't think rationally either.
