How do you know if you should boycott a store?
We need to start rebuilding locally owned stores.
If a store is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, then boycott them.
If a store/owner ever contributed to Black Lives Matters, then boycott them.

I've been refusing to shop anywhere that hassles me about not wearing a mask. I'm not supporting anyone who treats me like I'm toxic poison.
I've had a few OFFER me a mask but did not insist on one. I've had only ONE store (REI) refuse me entrance (blue county, blue state) for not wearing a mask, even though I have a medical exemption. The store manager cited corporate policy for the refusal, insisting that as a "private entity" they don't have to honor medical exemptions (he and they are wrong). He also claimed that online sales and curbside delivery are "adequate accommodations", which is ludicrous. Needless to say, I will not patronize that store again, and I will be filing an ADA complaint against them.
I've heard similar stories about REI. Follow through with your complaint. I think if enough of us stop letting them push us around this will finally stop.
But I'm also trying to make an effort to just stop shopping at big chains regardless. Corporations are some of the biggest pushers and funders of 'woke' leftist policies and agendas. Time to cut the head off of the snake.
If we hadn't received some substantial gift cards to REI for Christmas, we would have left and never bothered with them again. We'd like to use those gift cards, but after that, we are done with them!
We're working toward shopping at small businesses as much as we possibly can, as well, whether brick-and-mortar or online.
You could always try something like this: https://www.cardcash.com/sell-gift-cards/
I'm not that old and I can still remember when they used to say "The customer is always right." Now retailers are openly hostile and almost dare you to go shop somewhere else. What a crappy world these commies are building.
That site takes a pretty big bite out of the value of the card. And their trade options are few and almost all woke.
I'm sure his head wound spin if some restaurant cited being a private entity as a justification to refuse service to a black person. And also be completely unaware of how he is doing the same wrong thing.
EXACTLY! It just boggles my mind that they believe they are justified in this nonsense.
I boycott if they make me wear a mask. So far, nothing has changed since I began in August. I'm also in a very blue area.
Make sure they buy locally.
