Other than opening a lot of people's eyes, which I agree is VERY important, what was accomplished? The swamp is deeper and more brazen than ever. He handed over all 3 branches of government without a fight. Voting is useless. The border is going to be wide open again. We are once again throwing billions of dollars to countries who hate us and are partaking in global redistribution of wealth of scams. We are already losing American jobs. I imagine tax cuts will be gone soon. Proposals to tax unrealized capital gains are on the table. Insert tons of things I'm forgetting off the top of my head.

Yeah, his Presidency was largely a failure.

because everything you are moaning about has been going on for a LONG time and most people did not realize it. That is very powerful knowledge. 80+ million Trump voters know that ever facet of their government is corrupt and wont forget, and that number is going to keep growing as they watch the country start slipping. That was his gift and no president in our life time has been willing or able to do that.

You can either see the positives in it or you can just doom and gloom. But that doomin isnt going to get you anything except failure.

Don’t get me wrong, we are on the same team, I just don’t see it as rosy as you do. Opening eyes is huge but, to me, that isn’t enough to make it a successful term. Agree to disagree, but at least we are both still here.

You do have a good counter point, I didnt mean to be dismissive of what you were saying. I guess if we end up back to where we started in a few years and we are back to supporting the GOP in their "fight" against the Dems, and still threating to "one day do something" then it would have been a failure of a Presidency in my opinion too. In the context of history sometimes things dont seem that significant, but they can build into something greater. It was 12 years afterall from the first open display of defiance against the British before we had our independence.

No, those of us that aren't retarded are well aware that a Bush is just as bad a Clinton. I was hoping Trump would have at least made one single change that couldn't just immediately be overturned with the next Dem, but he was way too concerned with getting likes on Twitter to actually accomplish anything.
