Even outside of Q I can't believe how many religious nutwads around here literally believe God is going to magically fix everything for them.
Mother fucker when has God actually intervened in the last two millennia? If he happily let millions of lives be wiped out in the early and mid 20th century them he sure as fuck isn't going to lift a fucking finger over immigration policy.
The biblical definition of miracle is "an event in the external world brought about by the immediate agency or the simple volition of God".
That was not the American Revolution. That was a shitload of hard work and pain and suffering.
You can't just fucking claim 'anything good was clearly a miracle and due to God', but whatever, you all are experts in somehow handwaving away all the bad shit God clearly has responsibility for but you refuse to accept.
You should read about the revolution and those involved. So many accounts of divine intervention.
Washington had 2 horses shot from under him.. 4 bullets pass through his clothes, all in a battle he was in that was lost during the french and Indian war. Just one of the many historical accounts of the man we required being indestructible..
Uncommon weather patterns and unexplainable fog helped the colonial army many times. All historical recorded accounts not stories.
God was very much part of the creation of the United States.
Genesis promises everything in life is hard work and suffering. That's expected. But the United States is an unprecedented historical event based on Christian Protestant concepts of freedom and standing totally outside the normal currents of human behavior.
