This is all pretty outrageous, but the storage one is a real doozy. I like to leave my guns out and at the ready, so I guess if some commie peeked in my window, they could report me? Lol useless.

.....or you report every commie for suspected improper storage....every day...forever.

Unconstitutional laws will not be enforced in my state - and my sheriff works to alert everyone of any atf overreach in our area.

Vote your local leaders carefully folks, particularly sheriff and marshall

Hey, I like that.... seven days for a silencer? Not seven months anymore? or is it seven months PLUS seven days?

No idea how the NFA has gone unchallenged. We almost got a case heard about it in 2018, but get this:

The Supreme Court declined to hear the case.

Even after lower courts stated that ruling the NFA unconstitutional was a decision that only the Supreme Court could make.

Sound familiar? Fucking clown world.

Ha, seven days would be awesome...but I'm guessing they want a 7 day period on any 4473, so you'll have to go to your dealer to fill out the 4473 then wait another 7 days to pick up your can.

HR125 - [...] 7-day waiting period [...] [for] armor piercing ammunition

Isn't AP ammo already illegal? The fuck is the point of a 7-day waiting period, anyways?

HR127 - To provide for the licensing of firearms and ammunition possession and the registration of firearms [...]

Haven't mandatory firearm registries already been determined to be unconstitutional?

HR 167 - To prohibit the transfer of a firearm at a gun show by a person who is not a federally licensed firearms dealer.

No text yet, but I would be willing to bet this bill would prevent all transfer of a firearm by a private individual in general, forcing them to use a FFL dealer as an intermediary in the sale.

Isn't AP ammo already illegal?

The language is vague...but basically AP rifle rounds are legal (ie M855)

Per 18 U.S. Code § 921:

(17)

(A) The term “ammunition” means ammunition or cartridge cases, primers, bullets, or propellent powder designed for use in any firearm.

(B) The term “armor piercing ammunition” means—

(i) a projectile or projectile core which may be used in a handgun and which is constructed entirely (excluding the presence of traces of other substances) from one or a combination of tungsten alloys, steel, iron, brass, bronze, beryllium copper, or depleted uranium; or

(ii) a full jacketed projectile larger than .22 caliber designed and intended for use in a handgun and whose jacket has a weight of more than 25 percent of the total weight of the projectile.

(C) The term “armor piercing ammunition” does not include shotgun shot required by Federal or State environmental or game regulations for hunting purposes, a frangible projectile designed for target shooting, a projectile which the Attorney General finds is primarily intended to be used for sporting purposes, or any other projectile or projectile core which the Attorney General finds is intended to be used for industrial purposes, including a charge used in an oil and gas well perforating device.

Haven't mandatory firearm registries already been determined to be unconstitutional?

Previous supreme court ruling was that it would violate the 5th amendment, however I don't think it would take much for the communist regime to change this if taken before the court a second time. Further, the constitution doesn't seem to mean a whole lot these days.

How strange. Why ban handgun AP rounds and not rifle AP rounds??

And you are not wrong. I would just like to see them try and hear the case after what they did in 2018 with the NFA and that vet from Kansas

I've come to a concrete decision over anyone who tries to enforce this or other gun regulations; they are not acting as law enforcement; they are violating violating the constitution and my rights.

I will treat law breakers as the criminals they are.

I will not bow to thieves or kidnappers.

"Shall not be infringed"

I'll die for my rights if they come for me.

Maybe if enough tyrannical enforcers find out what the second amendment really means in practice, the rest will at least quit out of self-preservation, if not for rights-preservation.

I am threatening nothing and no one. I am simply saying I will not comply with attempts to take my God-given rights.

If they come for me, perhaps I'll meet up with like-minded souls in the next life.

We all die. I wouldn't mind dying in defense of the rights of my fellow man.

I'd rather die than be rounded up.

Texas will give a big "fuck you," to these rules. I guarantee it.

They want to take away all your guns and have just laid out their partial plan.

  • HR 127 - Gun licensing, registration & partial ammo ban
  • HR 125 - Federal waiting period on firearms, ammo, magazines & suppressors
  • HR 167 - Regulate who can buy and sell firearms and where they can do so
  • HR 121 - Funding to hire 200 ATF gun confiscators
  • HR 130 - Mandatory government standard for firearms storage with requirement for investigation of reports

An idiots guide on doing Gun Control without doing "Gun Control":

Step 1 - Ban felons from owning weapons (even if they've already served their time).

Step 2 - Levy a "tax" (that results in net-negative revenue) on popular styles of firearms and firearm accessories (SBRs, Machine guns, Silencers, Soon to be "high capacity" magazines).

Step 3 - Require citizens to follow a complex, lengthy, and highly invasive firearm tax paying process, denying the vast majority of would-be firearm tax payers from actually paying the tax even if they do everything right.

Step 4 - Make it a felony to not pay the firearm "tax".

Step 5 - Ban open carry.

Step 6 - Require a CWP to carry a weapon concealed (the only other way to carry a weapon).

Step 7 - Require citizens to follow a complex, lengthy, and highly invasive CWP application process, denying the vast majority of applicants even if they do everything right.

Step 8 - Make concealed carry of a weapon without a permit a felony.

Step 9 - Require registration of weapons and ammo.

Step 10 - Require citizens to follow a complex, lengthy, and highly invasive weapon/ammo registration process, denying the vast majority of applicants even if they do everything right.

Step 11 - Make possession of an unregistered weapon or round a felony.

Step 12 - Create "red flag" laws that allow you to confiscate weapons without due process or due compensation from those who "may pose a danger to themselves or others" (literally anybody).

Congratulations - you've successfully gotten rid of all firearms! Constitution be damned!
