Interesting that nobody discusses how to actually stop abortion. Because of fraud we can't vote to stop it, so what are some ideas or biblical instructions?

The number one way to stop abortions is to discourage sexual immorality, across the board. Simple message, yes. Easy to achieve, no. Here's my rough take on it as a faithful Catholic.

Many advocates against abortion argue that people should simply use contraception, thereby significantly decreasing the risk of a successful pregnancy. To many including those on this forum, this may make perfect sense. However, in reality this does not solve the problem.

You can't give people an out via contraception or "good pull-out game". You have to actually convey to people why destroying human sexuality through actions like fornication is harmful. For one thing, many chemical "solutions" like the pill still involve the abortion of a pre-born baby. It's just less obvious compared to a surgical abortion.

Addressing the largest concern, that being extremely hormonal teenagers, parents need to do whatever they can when instructing their children about sex. Be firm and forceful, but also encourage them to come back and be honest if they do slip up, which for some may be inevitable. Never shame someone for an unintended pregnancy. At that point, it does no good and after all, we are all sinners, and if we recognize that, we can all begin to heal, improve, and strive to be more perfect as Jesus intended for us.

As for married couples, they also must accept that the usage of contraception, and of course the practice of abortion itself, is simply put... morally wrong. Why has the West seen such a sharp decline in the birth rate? Contraception. There are other factors, but they all come back to this one tool. There is a reason the Catholic Church deems contraception immoral, and no matter what Pope Francis or any other corrupt member of the Church hierarchy "believes", this stance will never ever change. Married couples need to learn to trust in the will of Almighty God when it comes to sexual relations. He will decide when to initiate the conception of new life. Contraception blocks Him from this opportunity, and changes the nature of the entire act. It's a very complex topic, and I'm not all that well versed in it, but that's the jist of it.

I should mention, God has designed humans with a natural method of contraception, that being the female cycle, where there are only a few days out of the cycle where conception is realistically possible. It is absolutely moral to avoid sex on the most fertile days to limit the chance of pregnancy. The possibility is still there, and that's the key difference between natural and artificial birth control.

Also, I know this is hard for people to hear, but... abstinence is the only sure-fire way. Abstinence should be practiced for all non-married couples, but it's still an option for married couples. Sex is not essential to our functioning as humans, despite what our culture conveys 24/7.

Overall, abortion, and by extension sexual immorality, will not cease unless people have the full picture. And that full picture requires belief in God, since this stuff will matter when you go before the Divine Judge.

(Also I'm only 20 years old so I'm not parenting genius, this is really based off my own personal mistakes over my teenaged years.)

When it comes to teenagers, parents also need to be parents, not trying to be their children's friends! This is what I see a lot these days...do not allow your children on social media, get to know exactly who are their friends, check in on them often. I thought my parents were extremely overprotective growing up and remember having friends who had absentee parents who let them do whatever they want, but now I am so thankful.

Number 1, don't let kids spend too much time at their boyfriend's or girlfriend's house. Number 2, don't leave your kids alone with their boyfriend/girlfriend.

When you get down to it, it's elementary stuff!

Amen. 40 million a year. Abortion continues to be the leading cause of death on this great Earth. We will pay a price for this at the hands of Almighty God.
