What are the patterns and motivations of the modern leftist liberal? In the spirit of know-your-enemy, what do we know?
It seems to me one common characteristic is the liberal's feeling of being ostracized by society because of some sexual or psychological trait, such as being the 37th gender, or an inability to hold a job. In some ways the leftist is like a 5 year old, but the tantrum results in large fires and looting. Is it bad parenting? Are they all enthusiastic for the endless promises of free health care, free housing, free drug money, free education, a free car and no need to work a job? Are they just rabid pack animals who get their kicks destroying individuals by working together as a mob? Is the mob mentality a result of feeling powerless? Are they all sociopaths and psychopaths?
Let's try to understand this bunch, and get better at neutralizing their influence.
Its just hypocrisy, cognitive dissonance, and psudo intellectualism run amuck
leftist are usually very high in charactertrait agreeableness. their urge to make everything equal comes from that. its basically a nurturing instinct, you want to redristribute resources equally to your children to not disadvantage anyone in their developement. Just that its out of control and reapplied to situations where it doesnt fit. Also, charactertraits who are on the opposite appale each other. Like someone who is orderly is disgusted by someone who is unorderly and reverse someone unorderly would think that orderly person is to rigid and has a stick up his ass. Also, my personal experience is people very high n agreeableness tend to resort to tribalism more. cant really say why, but thats my obserbvation. Jordan Peterson talks a bit about that
That fits the pattern of a 5 year old, just wanting to be taken care of. The 5 year old doesn't know where money comes from, or dad's struggle to keep his job, or mom's frustration with self expression. The lights always stay on, the dinner table always has food, and toys and playtime are always enjoyable. Is it arrested development?
When most of us grow up, we come to understand the evils of society, and the necessity of checks and balances in government to avoid exponentially larger evils. A child hasn't the mental development to understand this, so an omnipotent government sounds just great.
I agree, it is a systemic cancer. It's quite intentional, and we're about a hundred years late to begin counteracting it. This particular conversation is essential to understanding the mass psychology at work.
They are behind the veil. They cannot see nor hear. Most legit believe the nonsense and hypocrisy they vomit which is frightening.
It's way more subtle than any of that. I have the misfortune to live in a very liberal city and unless you're driving by an actual protest or sitting in a liberal college lecture hall, you likely won't notice any real differences even when having engaged conversations. Most liberals are your average everyday working class folks who happen to watch different news networks and hangout on different sites and so they've been indoctrinated with a completely different narrative.
