I put a 20 that he won't do anything savage until the impeachment clears

I would argue the GOP would convict him if he showed off his new party and managed to beat the gop fundraising tenfold

I could see that happening, but I'm hoping they are atleast laying the groundwork for the new party if that is something they plan to do. Two years to grow a party isn't a lot of time, and it's gonna take all of us to get it done.

I can see your point.

But why operate on their timetable, that is what this impeachment is for, to put him on the back foot.

The hell with them, they will convict him no matter what, They hate him. Let them impeach and then shove it in their face. Use the impeachment to raise money.

Slogan: THEY did this to me, help me stop them from what they NOW have planned for YOU.

He needs to start the Patriot Party and raise millions NOW. That money is needed to support state recalls, to support people for Primaries, to register the new Party in every state. To be there for those who were there for him.

Time is of the essence. As the great Edna Moss said, You will FIGHT and you will WIN!!!

Let's go!!!

He's already impeached in the House, for a second time. Impeachment is like an indictment, a charge.

The "trial" portion in the Senate is to acquit or convict him.

If convicted, they can strip his SS detail, bar him from serving in a federal position of power again... it's kinda serious. We still don't even know if the trial portion is constitutionally legal, since impeachment and conviction was written to "remove a President from his office" and at this point he is already gone from the office and is now a private citizen.

I say let him have the time to let this thing ride out... but that's just me.

All you say is true, serious and true.

But consider, the call to impeach him is political, any impeachment in the Senate will be political. Justice will not be found in either House.

Their goal is to entangle him in BS, to show the world they have power over him.

This is his Atlas Shrugged moment. He should tell them the charges are specious and he refuses to acknowledge their right to impeach him as he is no longer in office.

Let them spin their wheels and impeach him without him participating in any way.

Does he want to run again, probably not. Does he want to form a new political party and fight back using the power he has which is support of 75million people? I hope so.

Did you see they want to prevent Republicans from joining the military? Do you think they will stop there? Do you have any idea how close we are to seeing camps in our future, in our children's future?

We need him to take the helm and create a new political party NOW.

You get an updoot just for the Atlas Shrugged reference :)

What you say is not wrong. I just... man, I just will not blame him if he wants to play this thing out slowly. You know?

I see both sides of the coin... either one can make Trump even stronger in the eyes of the MAGA base. I just... call me soft, I don't mind, but I want him and his family safe before the next fight.

^ Nailed It.

I don't blame him on bit for hanging back a bit until this is over. It's the smart thing to do.

I just hope they push forward with the sham so he gets to offer evidence against the "months of fraudulent election fraud talk that whipped up his supporters" charge. I will watch every. damn. minute. I've seen the evidence via all the hearings. Let the Senate and the world see it too.

We won. By A LOT.
