In the Dem Party, the (power behind the) top power-brokers in DC control the Party, and the Party basically controls nearly all the elected officials in the party (even down to the mayor and city council levels.)
In the Republican Party, the Americans in the Republican Party control the Party, and the Party doesn't control the elected officials in the party. The TOP power brokers (and those behind them) in DC that are in the Party, DO NOT AND ARE NOT the Republican Party. [Note: This is why that power behind those TOP power brokers in DC can be seen and called the "uniparty"; but this doesn't extend to most of the Republicans. The uniparty is not an internal function of the Republican Party (ie changing/creating/etc another party wont change it), it has to do with the unconstitutional rules in congress & 'out of jurisidiction' fundraising.]
This is a key difference between the two. Just as Commie militaries run tight top down command and control, with dependent-leadership; and the US tends to have very independent officer/front line commands that operate within broad orders/framework (eg "NUTS!").
Dems issue & follow orders, like a crime boss organization. (btw eg it was LBJ as Leader of the Senate that wrote & changed the rulz of the Senate to give the Leader dictatorial powers that Mitch use(s/d). Ya totally unconstitutional rulz too. But this is a dem party lawbreaking thing, not a Republican Party thing, which is why when Republicans control the Senate, the members and party do not respond to the LBJ powertrip like Dems do.)
The Republican Party is NOT run as the Democratic Party is, Dems run with top-down command and control (eg daily DNC talking points memos). When you're in the Republican Party, or an elected official, you get to think for yourself.
"The GOP" as defined by lefties (no matter how much the marxist media, dems, lefties, etc try to bluepill you and tell you otherwise. The "sunday political show guest list" does NOT control the party.) The GOP as defined by Republicans is the Americans in the party, not the "DC (swampy/deepstate) leadership".
90+% of the Republican Party supports DJT and is MAGA (btw MAGA concept wasn't invented by DJT, the platform and *"Let's Make America Great Again" is the vast majority of the history of the Republican Party minus the neocon Bushes & a few other bits (like "progressive/marxism" T.R.).
Republicans believe every day is the Fourth of July, but the democrats believe every day is April 15." — Ronald Reagan
Republicans = For our REPUBLIC
Democrats = For turning our Republic, into a muh Democracy
Lefties = For turning muh democracy, into a Commietopia.
These past two weeks and more now, the Dems/Lefties are rounding up their political enemies by the hundreds, by the thousands, and in the not to distant future; the only thing that will be standing in their way of total power is The Republican Party as an institution, is the only institution that the marxists don't control or have their claws into.
At least some significant % of Republicans know about marxisms koolaid telling T.R. to split the Republican Party, and handing the WIN to W.Wilson to make their marxists wish list come true:
