You won't wanna be around for any of that. You think the Demoncrats are bad now? God's got every accounted for. Can't wait for their comeuppance. For eternity!
Why not? What's seven years of miserably conditions for the sake of adventure verse an eternity? What's the worse that could happen? Someone kills me? We all die.
Because you could die prior to accepting Christ. And that would suck.
Honestly, whether the Christians are taken before or after the 7 years tribulation is a point of theological disagreement among scholars. So there is the chance you could accept Christ and still get the 7 year ride.
Also, given the choice between walking through literal hell on Earth or getting to watch from the Heavenly stands while eating God's own Popcorn... Imma pick the popcorn.
I would totally pick walking the Hell on Earth. That's were all the excitement is. If I end up in Heaven eventually, I don't want to miss out on the last bit of action before it gets terribly peaceful. Getting stuck in with the great forces of evil on a global world war knowing it's all gonna end in a big ol' bang is one hell of a party to end Earthly existence on.
My entire life I've fought against bullies, criminals, insurgents, and the corrupt. My entire life. If it was revealed that the end times were coming and the Rapture happened, confirming it's all real, that'd make everything all the more easy to deal with to know there's a just God looking down on the world as I continue to keep fighting. War is not an unhappy place for me. It's the only place I've ever felt at home. The end times would be as cloae to Valhalla as I'll ever get.
If being the best, most just human being I could possibly be while having spent my entire life fighting corruption and evil isn't good enough for the good Lord, then he can snuff me out of existence, and I will rest comfortably in oblivion.
