He's waiting for the Impeachment Trial in the Senate to come and pass with hopefully few Republicans voting for impeachment.
Once that is done, he is a free man if they vote not to convict him. Then he can begin to do his rallies, restart his movement, and begin a new political party.
Now that Biden has begun to do his stupid acts and has started pissing off the Rino Cucks in the Senate, they will cool with their "anger" towards Trump and eventually just vote to not convict him.
They have seen the overwhelming groundswell of support for Trump since the lefts attempt to demonize him on his way out, with his own voters. Now, they understand that a break with Trump, even after inauguration is a death sentence to the future of their political career. Trump's support actually increased post-capitol raid, and post-biden Inauguration.
I think they seriously believed they could bring us back to the warhawk romney/mccain/etc... style of republicanism. NOT happening. Embrace Trumpism or get primaried into oblivion, possibly replaced by another party.
