I'm mainly referring to immediate family that you otherwise get along with.

Do you argue with them, let them rant, or just refuse to discuss politics with them?

iunno. all my leftist family and friends are now lion/patriot party. some were very left.

I never confront them, I just show them the data and let them decide.

ex: today ive sent one of them the covid graph showing cases decline since Biden was president. it only mentioned dates and decline. their reply "looks like cases were trumps fault uh haha". my reply "yea we just needed a new election and its fixed!"

I guarantee you that person is no longer left and will soon tell me about how Trump wasn't that bad.

The frustrating thing is I'm not dealing with leftists. My dad for example is more of a centrist. He kinda gets it but thinks Trump is an a**hole. I told him about the Chicago and DC mayors urgently wanting to reopen restaurants. He actually was into the Trump thing until Covid and has had issues with him ever since.

yeah right before covid things were finally looking up. people figured Trump wasn't that bad. economy going great. no wars. no climate issue. less job problems.

thats also why they invented covid, and it worked.

Yep. The timing of covid is a strange coincedence.....but makes sense.
