I'm hearing the republican senate will nearly unanimously vote against impeachment, and several will fight hard for him. I know of at least 1 dem senator planning to vote against it as well. I feel like this is going to backfire on the democrats, people are already pissed that they're wasting time on this instead of the stimulus Biden promised voters would "be mailed immediately." Who knows what else Trump may be able to expose in the process.

Now that I think more about this, I think this would start civil war if they actually have it so that Trump can't run in 2024. The only reason there isn't one already is because people have some shred of hope for 2024. So with that I say...do it.

Have you ever read the US Constitution? No where in the US Constitution does it say anyone is barred for life from holding office.

Yeah this has been burning in the back of my mind. Even if every republican votes no(they won't) they have the majority with kumdumpster Harris as the tie breaker. You can bet your bottom dollar that they will 100% vote to impeach. Now whether or not that's constitutional remains to be seen. Fuck,fuck,fuck. That also means that Trump would lose secret service protection. The evidence will not matter because they already have their minds made up and their marching orders.
It takes 2/3 vote in the senate, as far as I know, which means 17 Republican senators would have to vote for it.
Better get on the phones, emails, and letters to all the fucking RINO's...and the few possible dems, like Joe in WV, to stand behind, not impeachment.
