I like to watch a lot of WW2, WW1, and other history videos and documentaries. Since inauguration day it's really all I've been watching because I'm still working out my denial about the election and don't feel like watching that pedophile sit in the highest office in the world... but anyway, since I've been watching post WW2 most recently I made a very close connection between how Trump and the MAGA movement and Hitler and the nazi's were treated after the fact, no comparison in the actual groups obviously. Now the election/war is over they intend on making anything to do with MAGA/Nazi's illegal and then scrub every bit of its existence from history. Means of scrub then was to remove any remaining symbolism, swastikas ect.. now they'll remove it from the internet.
It's almost like someone saw how Germany was handled and thought "that's the perfect way to handle these trumpers"

I think it is more akin to the Cultural Revolution: public shaming, youth brigades, rampant Marxist propaganda and govt consolidation of power while removing your enemies by any means necessary.
Actually I've been thinking about this a lot and I've read a fair bit about the culture and times leading up to WW2. Are we on the precipice of a similar hyperinflation that leads to global conflict? Are we trying to stand our ground while the ground gives way beneath us? Sure feels that way. Maybe Trump was the last defense before it all unravels and the real ugliness is ahead of us. How does any of this resolve itself in a reasonable manner?
At this point we're in territory I thought I'd never see so how to rebound from what wasnt even considered. How do you fix clown world?

I studied history modern world which covered the world wars in depth and what led upto them and how they could have been avoided etc... Noticed bits here and there, but a friend actually pieced it together and pointed it out to me, but as soon as she did i was like, wow how did i not see this!!!

What should I say, history repeats itself. The similarities are there, but this happens with frauds in power who only know to lie and use propaganda, it's the same in China and every other country where the leaders don't give a fuck about the people they should lead.

Biden is the Communist takeover of Germany that killed millions in a Civil War. Antifa showed up long before Hitler and his Fascism.

Now imagine after a bloody civil War an America First Socialist showed up. Bigger Government Checks instead of sending money to foreign countries. Keep the Identity politics, just narrow it down a bit. Get their safety back with Authoritarianism. When that shows up, the Leftist cities will vote for it on mass....
Then the Communists will move and use it as another example of "evil anti-Semitic Fascism" to breed the next generation of Communists.

Ya, that's part of the cycle. "Anti-Facism" is just Communists complaining about getting punished for their crimes. Despite Communism killing far far more, it's often overlooked in history. But the responses to Communism... Those get played on a loop to get the sympathy appeals to raise another generation of Communists.
