Yeah, the record numbers is still low. How is this a win? Pedes bending over backwards for poc and they still overwhelmingly vote blue.

If anything the pandering should’ve been to whites and Hispanics.

Yet somehow the white vote was the only one that decreased... despite the vote being anonymous they always know what race the voter was.... somehow.

He directed much rhetoric and policy specifically to the 'black community,' often entering cringeworthy wtf territory.

Platinum Plan. Pardons. HBUs. Opportunity zones. First step act. George Floyd. etc.

And it still (predictably) barely moved the needle.

Exceptions don't make the rule.

None of these gestures filtered down into the minds of black voters because of media monopolies protecting and preserving their precious voting blocks. I don't know that it would have even made a difference, black people view voting as an opportunity to "stick it to Whitey". If the Democratic Party had the perception of being predominantly white, they would vote against them.

This forum has too many virtue signalers, you're entirely right

It sucks that black women were so easily suckered by this.

Many Blacks stayed home and did not vote for Biden.

That's double what every Republican before Trump got in my life time. That will keep growing.

We can paint it as a bad thing or we can paint it as an amazing turn around of an increase of 50% in the black vote for Trump!

Or we can acknowledge that he gained several percentage points among different racial groups that resulted in the most legitimate votes for a president ever.
