Men and women are both human. Both sexes are designed to perform different tasks. Men are better at physical activity. Women have better immune systems. Men are meant to leave the home. Women are meant to keep the home.
In today’s world, men are better for physical activities and sales. Women are better at bureaucratic activities.
The purpose of work is life. Both sexes can find great paying careers.
So men are smarter (look at the chess grandmaster sex stats, like 45-1) but somehow women are better at admin? Yeah no. We let women do that (often to give a wife or gf something to do) but if there was a long standing bureaucratic activity that all civilizations used, I'm pretty certain we would see a bias against women. Have you figured it out yet? For some reason women haven't succeeded in political bureaucratic activities (as representatives or perhaps more to your point in the backroom/legal/public servant angle).
Women are designed to make babies. Why is this such a hard thing to admit? Better immunity and pain resistance? check. Everything else aside from fertility and things that support fertility on the backburner? Check. Yes they are both human and I'm proof of anything that you don't have to fulfill that biological purpose (to my detriment) but can we stop acting like women were supposed to waste their most reprodutive years in the workforce? If you want to do something else by all means (althought self reports differ on the matter in terms of how happy t his actually makes them) but lets not pretend that women's primary job in society shouldn't be being mothers and wifes and it's to our and societies detriment as a whole if they are not (Hello 1.4 reproduction rate).
