Archive.is also works if you're willing to make an effort to use it. It helps to understand URL structures (e.g. subdomains & tacked on variable/argument strings) when using it with Twitter and many other sites. If the goal is to avoid giving Twitter traffic, then Nitter is the least reliable method at the moment. They're also the most vulnerable to being shut down. Archive.is has survived a lot of attempts to shut it down so far.
