No more drilling licenses, fracking is over, etc. Greta happened. I'm not sure New Mexico is a fracking hotspot, but there has been at least significant fracking. So far, fracking has been largely credit-driven, with cheap money, to boot. The party would have ended ponzi-style sooner or later anyway, but pulling the plug from all those debtors is a problem for them NOW. (It's also a problem for creditors, of course.) The irony is that New Mexico is a blue state, and they have noone to blame but themselves. Unless, of course, there was election fraud in New Mexico.
(I guess there will be bailouts, because money does not matter anymore. It's like during the tech-bubble in the 90s, when the word "million dollars" lost all its meaning, because the smallest poker-chip for news was a billion. In the roaring 2020s, the word "billion dollars" has lost its meaning. They WANT the economy to pop, but not before they are in full control of a prison planet.
