I have been wondering about this myself. If Trump is no longer President, how can he be impeached? Can we impeach Obama then? It doesn't seem like there are any rules anymore...Rule by fiat
It makes no sense, other than to prevent him from running again. Purpose of impeachment is to remove a president, not stop someone from running for president later. Would like to see it go to the supreme court, if that's even possible.
