McConnell represents a Republican Party willing to lose everything as long as big business does well.

That is the most important thing. A new working-class, diverse party is the future, not McConnell’s white guys at the Rotary Club.

Taiwanese but with strong CCP ties. Entire shipping business is due to China.

The person who married this person is Mitch McConnell... it seems like it was a favor to Mitch to try and bribe him practically. Not that I agree with it, or probably literally 15+ of his appointments for that matter, but it is what it is.

So you think it’s good that Mitch is married to a Chinese/Taiwanese lady with large CCP ties?

I can only guess the bullshit Trump had to deal with to get stuff done

8
IvIA6A 8 points ago +9 / -1

This. If he wants his judges and legislative agenda and getting 3 reliable rinos in line, he's gotta make some concessions to republican leadership. I don't like it either, but that's the reality of washington.

5

Mitch should be censured for leveraging his position to get his wife a cabinet position.

All you have to realize is that GEOTUS was in a fight for Our Lives, mano a mano. That wears any man down over time when they come from every direction. FFS it started during the campaign! Witness what his "legal" team was advising him in the final days. If people refuse to acknowledge the depth and breadth of the swamp and their proclivity for power, then that is truly clownworld.

Many of the power brokers of Taiwan are agents of the ccp. Think their version of our deep state

5
Auroraalpha 5 points ago +5 / -0

Theres a portion of the Taiwanese business community heavily associated with the Mainland. These folks think they can make a quick buck off the CCP.

I like the sentiment but let's be careful about conservative media picking our heros. The article says Rubio will keep the fight going. He is swamp through and through. We should tread lightly. Hawley, yes, Cruz, maybe.... but we need new blood. Majoire Green definitely!

59
goldwater4ever 59 points ago +60 / -1

Hell yeah anybody who thinks Marco Rubio is on our side is complete dumb ass.. he's as swampy as they come, he's just kept a low profile over the last four years..

14
FakeNametag 14 points ago +14 / -0

Even if he was good, he didn't have the sense to keep his business expenses separate from his personal expenses on his government credit card. He's too dumb to be useful.

15
aqua27 15 points ago +15 / -0

He's to corrupt thats the problem its millions for him and crumbs for the working class Americans while the Chamber of Commerce gets his ear and his attention

2

King_Boobus_Toobus 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's why I tell people that one of Donald J. Trump's greatest achievements was to EXPOSE them all. Even the normies can see it now. Between November 4th and January 20th there was no place left to hide. Rubio and many others showed exactly what side they're on.

Edit: Just went back and actually read the article... How did Rubio get mentioned in the same sentence as Cotton, Cruz and Hawley?? Did I miss something? Other than that one glaring error, I agree with the rest of the article.

21
zigmund_fraud 21 points ago +22 / -1

No, the GOP needs to be replaced. Stop keeping it on life support.

6
BuckMelanoma 6 points ago +7 / -1

This. Even if a luck dragon from The Neverending Story swooped in and carried Mitch away (which is no less of a fantasy than the GOP ousting him), the power structure does not change. They’ll hand the baton off to the next guy up. Probably a skin suit like Lindsey Graham or one of the other ancient spiders. There is no political will among the GOP to do differently.

2
zigmund_fraud 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. Guys like Lindsey and Trey Gowdy are two huge reasons why I will never trust that party ever again. I don't like being made to feel stupid for trusting someone.

1
Auroraalpha 1 point ago +2 / -1

Even if the GOP is to be replaced, who will we push for our congressional leadership?

1

The Federalist needs to check the rulings of these so-called conservative judges. They have been repeatedly going against the Constitution. All 3 justices of the Supreme Court confirmed by McConnell have done nothing in favor of America. Roe Vs Wade if challenged will fail. With only two in favor of overruling. Thomas and Alito. Laura Loomer's and others fighting censorship, cases have been brought before Trump's appointees and they've done the same as the others "judges,"

17
schism 17 points ago +17 / -0

These judges are all Federalist Society approved, if I remember correctly. Maybe we should accept their recommendations with a healthy dose of skepticism.

3
Auroraalpha 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well yeah. Deferral to a single outside institute is HOW you get the swamp.

2
BeijingJoeHastoGo 2 points ago +2 / -0

Maybe we should tell the Federalist Society to fuck off. The Dunce who wrote the article sees Rubio as a "leader" of conservatives. He's not; he'a an imbecile and a sellout of American interests. And not one mention of the election being stolen or the top-to-bottom corruption of our election system that keeps idiots like Rubio and Turtle in government.

mty_green_go 1 point ago +1 / -0

Redmerc1999 21 points ago +21 / -0

3 things I see wrong in this article that makes me think it's more propaganda than educated/well articulated opinion. 1 - he says he doesn't know who Mitch is appealing to. Anyone who's paid any attention to the last 6 months knows EXACTLY who these fucks are appealing to, and it ain't their voters 2 - He says Trump lost the election. Bullshit, it was stolen from him and I will maintain that until I'm proven wrong. 3 - And this one is debatable to a point, but he says the media follows the people. Recent history would show that to be somewhat false, if not glaringly false.

Edit: the above being said, I agree Mitch needs to GTFO, and stay out

Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and Tom Cotton will fight this fight. These are the leaders we need.

No. Little Rubio needs to be kicked out in the 2022 elections (and I'll pre-empt any "we don't have elections anymore" 1. He is in Florida, DeSantis has cleaned up a lot of the state's shenanigans; ask Floridians how Broward & Miami-Dade counties were in the 2016 election and in the 2020 election. 2. Start locally, inquire, demand to see the information, get elected yourself, start reforming your county. Rant over).

Cotton has also shown that he talks the talk, but can't walk the walk. He's a goner, too.

That leaves Cruz and Howley. Honestly, can't fully trust any of them, but at least they have the political acumen to see which way the wind is blowing, so that's a start.

This article was necessary when there was actually an opportunity to depose him, that being when the Kentucky primaries were held.

Removing entrenched spiders like McConnell, as well as Pelosi and Schumer, from their leadership positions takes some Game-of-Thrones-level intrigue from their parties that does not exist. No one is going to risk their committee positions or chairmanships to oust the people who put them there.

1
Elvathelion 1 point ago +1 / -0

If I still thought the political system could resolve this current situation - I might care.

We get closer and closer to the time where the reckoning will not be political in nature.

Once a large section of a population are disenfranchised, isolated and maligned by their own "government" - then what exactly do you think will happen?

The political talking heads and the politicians are not quite understanding this - or maybe they are and it is exactly what they want.

Self fulfilling prophecies are always the most convenient kind.

I understand the frustration of those wanting to start a new party, but the GOP is ours/Trump's party, we need to finish the job of taking over the GOP. We've seen evolution away from the Chamber of Commerce with the Tea Party Movement steam rolling over Beoeher & Canter. Trump gave us a control of congress up until the midterms where a bunch of Establishment Incumbent cucks sought to retire all at once and this last election despite getting cheated out of senate seats and the presidency, we picked up a bunch of house seats. For those that just think we'll just be taken back over by the Establishment like in the past, remember that we've never had a Donald Trump in the past. His Pulpit it very powerful.
