The point is that Trump supporters aren’t a terrorist threat and Islamic terrorists are. Whether or not the patriot act set a bad legal precedent, it is obviously more justified to spy on Bin Laden than it is to spy on Trump.

They grew up with a smart phone in their hand at age 5. Addicted to social media & no concept of what giving up privacy for security/ease-of-use means.
