Trying to get a platform together this weekend and type it up. Post your ideas. I am thinking of an iron clad platform written in bill of rights format so it’s easy to understand and leaves little to interpretation. One major party rule I would like to stress is any candidate must adhere to the platform or be removed from the party. I’ll post my other thoughts in the comments. If the thread gets long sort by new comments in case some of the points have long replies. I’m so energized by this opportunity and really excited that this place is the groundwork.

Another thought: open membership. Make it as easy as possible for people to join and vote on candidates and internal positions without going through the traditional voting system. It would also allow us to primary candidates in the legacy parties. Once we reach critical mass, everyone mass registers as patriots.

We cannot be the next Bull Moose or Independent party, i.e. a speedbump in history of government's expansion.

That makes sense for the chairmanships and party officials. I’m thinking of how the GOP holds their chairmanships for some of the most corrupt or at least their nieces and family members of the elites.

Your platform is too specific. It needs broad strokes for policy and later come the fine details.

I had already posted on a Patriot Party platform, but here are my ideas:

1. America First
This is an easy one. A government of the people, by the people, for the people should benefit THE PEOPLE. American CITIZEN interests should be placed first.

2. 100% Pro-2nd Amendment
Our forefathers and Founding Fathers knew the importance of the 2nd Amendment because they fought and died for independence from a tyrannical government (King George III). They felt the right to bear arms was instrumental in maintaining that independence.

3. 100% Pro-1st Amendment
The 1st Amendment is one of our most sacred rights. The right to opine and criticize. Without the 1st Amendment, we are but automatons with no individuality.

4. Law and Order
Our laws must always be followed, applied, and enforced. The Legislative Body must create them to be equal and just, our Executive Body must enforce them equally and justly, and our Judicial Body must always apply them equally and justly.

5. Talk Softly, Carry a Big Stick
President Theodore Roosevelt was one of our greatest Presidents because he didn't have to be an ostentatious President to demand respect on the global level. Other countries just knew he was formidable. Trump was identical.

6. All trade deals must be summarily beneficial to American workers
If a trade deal is detrimental to America and American workers, it is, by definition, taking advantage of our citizenry and our economy.

7. 100% Pro-Life
There is no reason why anyone should be advocating the wholesale murder of generations of Americans. The roots of abortion in this country are based in racism and eugenics (Margaret Sanger) and the United States of America have no room for these kinds of beliefs. I will likely receive some pushback for this part, but I do believe exceptions must be made for rape, incest, and when the pregnancy poses a fatal risk to the mother.

8. Strong, Defined, & Defensible Borders
Sovereignty of a nation is only as strong as its territory. If we are unable to defend and police our territory from invading forces, we are not a sovereign nation.

9. Immigration Reform to give ICE & DHS teeth in fighting illegal immigration
See #8. Illegal immigration poses an existential threat to the sovereignty of our nation.

10. Anti-Communism
Liberty and Freedom have no tolerance for communism of any form.

11. Anti-Socialism
Socialism is a gateway drug to communism and is, therefore, an affront to Liberty and Freedom.

12. Anti-WHO (No more funding their bullshit)
The WHO has proven itself to be a corruptible and corrupt organization in how they colluded with China in covering up China's complicity in releasing the Covid-19 virus upon the world.

13. Anti-UN (Kick them out of NYC)
The UN has used the United States of America as their attack dog and purser for far too long. Member nations have suckled at the teat of American coffers for too long. They must be let loose to fend for themselves.

14. US no longer "world police"
We are but one country. What happens in other areas, so long as our citizens are not harmed, we should not be concerned.

15. No foreign wars or interference in geopolitical issues that have nothing to do with the US
Unless the United States is defending itself (War of 1812) or retaliating to an attack (Pearl Harbor), war should not be our prerogative.

16. Deregulation
Deregulation has been shown to be much more effective in fostering growth and market evolution than overregulation.

17. Lower taxes (Corporate and Personal)
Lower corporate taxes have been proven to bring companies and manufacturing back to the United States, providing well-paying jobs to American Citizens. Lower personal taxes keeps more of our hard-earned money in our pockets, allowing us to better provide for our families.

18. 75% Tax on all remittances overseas (financially cripple illegals and disincentivize illegal immigration)
Do not give ANY financial incentive to illegal immigration while discouraging money leaving the country.

19. Decrease immigration quotas & H1B allowances
See #1. America First means Americans First.

20. Equality, not Egality
We all start at the same beginning in life, but how far we go and what we achieve wholly depends on us. Others go farther, while others decline to race. May we all be treated equally under the eyes of the law, but in life, no one is equal.

21. Meritocracy, not Quotas
Affirmative Action and Diversity Quotas can result in less qualified individuals filling a position over a more qualified individuals. Meritocracy ensures the success of the best candidate, regardless of race or gender.

This is exactly what I’m talking about. I only wrote my ideas to get the dialogue going and think of it in terms of building the platform. Like JBP came up with his 12 rules for life and the framers built the constitution we have to start broad and then narrow down. I hope the mods can leave an open platform thread on the front page for this to be hashed out. Thanks Patriot!

By pledging as a member of the Patriot Party I will adhere completely to the party platform and not stray ever or my membership shall be revoked. 1. Champion the nuclear family and human life from conception 2. Champion a meritocracy 3. Small federal government (1/4 of its current labor force) 4. Only balanced budgets will be supported 5. No bailouts for any business, city, state or individuals 6. Implement a 20 year plan to abolish the Federal Reserve and institute a combination asset backing for the dollar. 7. Only support balanced trade deals with other countries 8. Decentralize all agencies from DC to other areas and get rid of redundant agencies 9. Write simple bills no longer than ten pages 10. Limit all service terms of any level to two terms and no more than two levels (for example one house seat term and one senate). 11. Examine all current socialist systems like social security for sustainably 12. Simplify the tax structure and reduce taxes to no more than 8% of all individual income state and federal. 13. School choice and refunds of local taxes for failing schools and support of homeschool.

I know the Constitution Party already has this as their platform but few people know or care about them: follow the damn Constitution as written. Especially 1A and 2A.

Need to use the momentum for a new party. If MAGA pulls like I think it will the GOP will be sworn off wholesale.
