A gym owner in New York just won their case a while ago and another business owner is in the appeals process. Additionally, that governors should be held responsible for screwing up at governing their states like the system intended. His only mistake in that regard was not realizing that the establishment Republicans hated him.
Now, try to be a little less dramatic and real yourself back to reality with the rest of us. Democratic governors no longer have to keep up the facade that the lockdowns are worth it. They have begun calling for everything to open up again. MSM has adopted a more optimistic tune and the WHO is finally taking a step towards accurate testing. The courts have shown that when push comes to shove, they stood by the right to peacefully practice religion. Every church that has been shut down needs to sue their states. A gym owner in New York just won their case a while ago and another business owner is in the appeals process. The latter of which had their legal fund yanked by the state during the appeal, so they’ll definitely be getting additional fees. The Supreme Court may be spineless fucking cowards but so far, they have demonstrated that they still have the will to stand by constitutional rights. With the optimistic tune of the media, anyone can tell lockdowns are not long for this world.

I think what happened was that it became clear the military would not support him. Mattis filled the leadership with his snakes (he is now working for China).
