The progressive left didn’t start a new party, they simply took over the DNC by purging the moderates from the party and forcing Democrat leaders to move radically left. IMO MAGA needs to the same with the GOP Club by working hard and voting for only MAGA candidates at all levels of government to take out RINOs during the primary process. Then stay home in the general election for any RINOs on the ballot. If 50 million MAGA GOP stay home for RINOs as a voting-block in the general elections of 2022 and 2024 they’ll be extinct in OUR party - just like moderates are extinct in the DNC.
Updated1/26/21: The less extreme version of this is vote GOP to hold the house and the DEMS. Identify the 4-5 biggest 2022 RINOs in the senate and purge them from office by either staying home or voting DEM in the general. MAGA voters complain GOP RINOs don’t wield their power against liberalism. 75M MAGA voters have to be willing to show RINOs what wielding power looks like 2022.
I would only add one thing. MAGA voters have to stay home in the general election too!!! We have to be willing to let a Democrat win in the general - especially if it means a RINO loss. If we’re not willing to do that as a MAGA VOTING BLOCK then the GOP RINO CLUB will always have the power. Either we take them out in the primaries or we stay home and let the Democrats. IMO this is the key to finally ridding the GOP of the McConnells, Ryan’s, McCains, Romneys and rest of the RINOs!
Look to the past a little and learn the lessons from the rise of the tea party. Duplicate that exponentially with MAGA numbers and candidates and you would create a ruling faction within the party. Young radical blood pushed the Dems. farther left. Do the same thing. In with new and then push the party back right. 75 million MAGA would vote for a MAGA loyal republican if they ran on that alone. " hello, my name is .....I'm running for..... as a MAGA Republican."
