Capitalism fails if you allow monopolies. The federal government has refused to do it's job and break up companies that reach a threshold. Trump didn't act on this either, and now it's going to get wild.

Free speech..however....this claim that corp "persons" free speech includes money to politicians.....asserts that fictional persons are equal to, or greater than actual NATURAL persons...which is an absurdity.

The constitution wasnt written to bestow NATURAL rights on FICTIONAL persons...so..

When fictional person free speech rights trump NATURAL person voting/elections rights, its an absurdity on its face.

The fictional corps dictate who can run and what their agenda is..and is able to strip the voter election/ voice by incentivising directl with money...which used to be called a bribe..not "free speech" Try to run for office without a billion $.

You are right but the problem is that in free society you cannot do that unless political campign of politicans would be funded from taxes not donations. What will have obvious disadvantage of possible manipulation by officials.

Why ? You cannot stop private persons to make donations,so if you don't allow private companies to do so - their owners will do so, and if you would limit those donations they would simply hire other people to pay such money. It is so silly game like silly game of socialists "raising taxes for the rich" which would simply apply tax evasion to avoid paying taxes.

What you are saying is correct, but adding friction to the process isn't a bad idea.
