I'm waiting for the foreclosures to start. Many will lose there jobs, then houses. Others that didnt make payments cause of covid will never catch up, economy will go in the shitter.

Everyone and everything was hanging on with the hope and expectation that Trump was getting a second term. Now, like you said, the chickens are coming home to roost. The stock market is likely going to crash next week and it’s all downhill from there.

now people will see HARDCORE what it's like to get back into shithole land with a career politician leading the helm. one who is more interested in virtue signaling that actually running the country

I hope so I really do. But virtually any leftist I talk to blames the disastrous hussien years on bush. Then when things turned around virtually overnight when Trump was inaugurated, suddenly it was wow look what hussein did! I wouldn’t doubt its gonna be the same old tune.

Good this is one thing I've been hoping for after this hell year, I saved up money to invest in property expecting a crash, hopefully other pedes did the same

Hope your investments are diversified because we are likely to go through some serious hyper-inflation and that cash won’t be worth what it was yesterday.

Sounds like I need to pull my rainy day money out of Robinhood!

Nah, foreclosure will be illegal. It just won't be your house anymore. Where do you think tens of millions of new immigrants are going? Yep, your bedrooms.

I own my land/home/car in full and electric is offgrid

Good thing I prepared during Trumps time in office.

Except technically because of the IRS and imminent domain... the gov can still randomly take stuff.

Not just eminent domain. All land and property is "potential military housing" during a state of emergency. We've been in one since 1933.

Tried to get my wife on board with that. Guess we'll live in comfort until the shootout.

In California it seems like people who stop paying on mortgages can stay as long as year without paying

That's nation-wide right now. You can be damn sure Biden will make it permanent.

Exactly! Despite the fact they were supposed to try and pay some of their rent, many didn't pay a dime. Once the eviction ban is over there will be a ton of people who have a huge debt to pay and no real ability to pay for it. Enter communism to save the day.

Just because these dumb people don't know how to save money or spend it wisely, doesn't mean the government can take over everything.

There will be no communism. That's just the lie they tell the useful idiots. What is really going to happen is the wealthy elites will let things go to the breaking point. They'll keep delaying the evictions until both the tenants and the small landlords are on the bring. Then they'll swoop in and buy up all the property. Evictions come back, all the renters get kicked out. Then they work on fixing the economy so they can profit from their huge grab.

It is the classic play. Destabilize, wait for the crash, invest, wait for the recovery, diversity, set up the next crash and swap to safe investments.

We are far more likely to become like China or Russia who aren't really communist anymore, but authoritarian oligarchies.
