The Catholic Church has a Jesuit Pope and the Knights of Columbus appear to have been neutered. If any Catholic stands up to defend their church against this or any other violence, the church would just attack them for their effort. You have to get involved and ensure your community is on the same page before you make your move. When the church does turn on you for doing what's right, make sure your community is ready and willing to turn on the church in return. They must seize their property back and sever the ties that bind them to that corruption.
The Bible has several parables about the hypocrisy of the Pharisees for a reason. Jesus didn’t die on the cross just for the Pope to become a Pharisees himself.
Again, I'm not arguing for or against any denomination. Many of them are in a far worse state than the Catholic Church and people tend to stick with the community they know. Any of them could turn on you for fighting fire with fire.
This has nothing to do with which church is best. You have to be involved in your own community and that limits people to choose from what is available where they live. The insane number of denominations already drives wedges into our communities. Those wedges have divided our people for generations, even centuries. Churches can promote a social order or they can destroy social cohesion, but either way they're a means to connect to those around you.
Anything with humans will be fallible. I know plenty of good people that are Catholics that stick to the principles of Christ. The problem is when a church official “virtue-signals”, (this can be a Protestant church that has rainbow flags too btw), it deviates from what Christianity is actually about.

We can't rely on any authority to keep us in communion with God. They will all eventually fail us, just as we will all personally fail. In the end, when the Lamb's Book of Life is opened, whether or not your name is there is NOT dependent on who led your church -- it depends on Christ's grace, and your acceptance of it.
The reason I'm not arguing for or against any particular denomination is that I believe they're all corruptable based on the people that are involved with them. If you follow anything blindly, you truly are no better than sheep. We still need our people (Patriots) to continue to be involved in their communities regardless of how they feel about religion, spirituality, or any such concepts. Argue theology if you must, but just get out there and find out who you can really trust to help fix our nation. This isn't about saving your soul, but getting things done here on Earth.

I'm Catholic and I take absolutely no directive from a heretic "pope" like Bergoglio because 1) it's a mortal sin for Catholics to be ignorant of Catholic teaching and 2) because of that, I know that what Bergoglio preaches is heretical because it goes against 2000 years of established Church teaching. What OP is saying is that it is incorrect to believe that the Pope has unrestricted authority in the Catholic Church to proscribe doctrine, this is an easy thing to misunderstand, all 'protestant' sects have their head; Calvin, Luther, Russell, Smith, Mohammad, etc.. so their followers are indoctrinated to believe that the 'head' of their church is also the one who prescribes doctrine and what they say, goes. Or it isn't like being the President, one comes in and does this, then the next one comes in and does the opposite.
In the Catholic Church the Pope is more easily understood as a representative of the line of unbroken apostolic succession, part of the new Covenant promise, like King David was for the old Covenant. Just as there were unfaithful Kings, there have been, and always remains the possibility of unfaithful Popes. This is not a good thing at all and my point isn't to say that their conduct doesn't bring scandal upon themselves, the people and the Church - in fact it's meant to bring scandal, it is a literal example of Satan attacking the Church. The point is that there are two parties to the Covenant in both the old and the new; God & humans, and we know which party broke that Covenant, and we also know that God was faithful. As he was then, he is now, and ever shall remain. We should never question God's faithfulness.
The Pope can speak for himself freely, but for fundamental doctrinal purposes, he has to speak from the seat of Peter (ex cathedra), and it's by this the doctrine of Papal Infallibility is drawn from. The Catholic Church will prevail, not because we are faithful to the new Covenant, but because God is faithful to the new Covenant, and it was upon Peter's shoulders that Jesus declared that he would build his church and that the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.
There is a continuity that goes along with it; Pope Francis can say whatever he wants about abortion, gay marriage etc.. but he has no power to overturn the Magesterium, though of course he can subvert it somewhat by telling people that it's up to their own discretion, though that only works when people don't know or follow the Law, as was the same for the Jews, or modern day politicians - some things remain consistent.
So yes, it is perfectly acceptable to be a Catholic and not go along with a sacrilegious Pope, in fact the true duty of a Catholic is to the one who established the Church, Jesus Christ, first and last. We are to weather the storms and cling to the Rock of Ages as One Body in One Christ.

I’ve met plenty of Catholics in my life that whenever a conversation of faith arises they are ultimately true to Christ. My position isn’t one to throw rocks at the church and it’s followers, it’s more distain whenever a pope shares an opinion directly contradicting the Bible and teachings of Christ.

The orthodox churches are the only legitimate Christian churches. Once the divide between the Eastern Orthodox and oriental orthodox is resolved then that unified church will have the sole claim to the true Christian faith

The modern conciliar "Catholic" church is just as heretical as every protestant sect. There's a difference between the Catholic Church as an organization and the Catholic Church as an institution. The former is corruptible, the latter is infallible. "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I shall build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." You need to do some more reading on Church history and theology, the Catholic Church is the only reason you have a Bible in the first place.

No, that is a losing strategy. That is what we've been doing for far too long. We have allowed Christ to be jettisoned from normal conversation and that is a mistake.

I grew up going to Armenian Orthodox services, I don't want to go to a Mass and hear people singing some country's national anthem, it has nothing to do with God. Catholicism IS the original Christianity. Catholic = "universal" in Greek, THE Church that opened up salvation to all mankind through Christ's sacrifice, where before it was limited to the Israelites under the old law.

Philosophically, the concept of the personification of God's wisdom as Christ or the Holy Spirit is interesting to me. The Trinity is confusing to many. The details don't matter to me as a matter of salvation, but I do want to understand it on a mechanistic level.

I only use mine to read the readings and prayers for the day though. You pick up the prayers in Latin pretty quick if you're already Catholic.
Also, not gonna lie, the high Mass that is sung is mind bending. Usually by around Thursday I find myself looking forward to Sunday.
The bulk of the prayers are done silently. There is a learning curve but you can park basically anywhere on that curve and still worship God in a fitting way. Whereas in the New Mass there isn't a learning curve, and everyone has to be exactly on the same page. The Old Mass is very freeing in this regard. Want to just kneel in the back the whole time and talk to God? Great. Want to follow the readings in a handmissal? Great. Want to learn Latin and memorize everything the priest prays silently? Knock yourself out. None of these approaches to assisting at Mass is superior to another, so long as you make an intention to join yourself with the sacrificing priest. It's not "one size fits all" like the New Mass where your every movement and response is dictated. In this way the Old Mass is actually far superior for families, because Mom or Dad can leave for a little bit with the wailing infant and bring their worship with them while they're outside. But in the New Mass if you miss the offertory procession or the Our Father because you had to step out, it's like you seriously missed out on part of your worship.
(Should also point out that we English speakers are very lucky to have a faithful translation of the New Mass into English. But a lot of countries that don't speak English have very liberal or shoddy translations. Latin always prevented that and was a unifying factor. We often forget though that the New Mass isn't the "English Mass"; it's a Latin text translated, sometimes very sloppily, into dozens of languages.)
I would walk towards them making a cross with my fingers chanting “Lord exorcise the satanic demons from these children” and tell everyone else to join me and wait for them to attack me first, then it’s on. This is a much more effective strategy to deal with these people.

We can't rely on any authority to keep us in communion with God. They will all eventually fail us, just as we will all personally fail. The reason I'm not arguing for or against any particular denomination is that I believe they're all corruptable based on the people that are involved with them. What OP is saying is that it is incorrect to believe that the Pope has unrestricted authority in the Catholic Church to proscribe doctrine, this is an easy thing to misunderstand, all 'protestant' sects have their head; Calvin, Luther, Russell, Smith, Mohammad, etc.. so their followers are indoctrinated to believe that the 'head' of their church is also the one who prescribes doctrine and what they say, goes. In the Catholic Church the Pope is more easily understood as a representative of the line of unbroken apostolic succession, part of the new Covenant promise, like King David was for the old Covenant. Just as there were unfaithful Kings, there have been, and always remains the possibility of unfaithful Popes. This is not a good thing at all and my point isn't to say that their conduct doesn't bring scandal upon themselves, the people and the Church - in fact it's meant to bring scandal, it is a literal example of Satan attacking the Church. The point is that there are two parties to the Covenant in both the old and the new; God & humans, and we know which party broke that Covenant, and we also know that God was faithful. As he was then, he is now, and ever shall remain. We should never question God's faithfulness.
The Pope can speak for himself freely, but for fundamental doctrinal purposes, he has to speak from the seat of Peter (ex cathedra), and it's by this the doctrine of Papal Infallibility is drawn from. The Catholic Church will prevail, not because we are faithful to the new Covenant, but because God is faithful to the new Covenant, and it was upon Peter's shoulders that Jesus declared that he would build his church and that the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.
There is a continuity that goes along with it; Pope Francis can say whatever he wants about abortion, gay marriage etc.. but he has no power to overturn the Magesterium, though of course he can subvert it somewhat by telling people that it's up to their own discretion, though that only works when people don't know or follow the Law, as was the same for the Jews, or modern day politicians - some things remain consistent.
So yes, it is perfectly acceptable to be a Catholic and not go along with a sacrilegious Pope, in fact the true duty of a Catholic is to the one who established the Church, Jesus Christ, first and last. We are to weather the storms and cling to the Rock of Ages as One Body in One Christ.

The modern conciliar "Catholic" church is just as heretical as every protestant sect. There's a difference between the Catholic Church as an organization and the Catholic Church as an institution. The former is corruptible, the latter is infallible. "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I shall build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." You need to do some more reading on Church history and theology, the Catholic Church is the only reason you have a Bible in the first place.

I will sum up my stance this way - sometimes being faithful to Christ means submitting to corrupt authority. Even unto death. Martydom is a heavy price, but it does a lot. Nothing inspires reform and restoration like the blood of innocents. Running away does nothing, neither does assuming false authority. Looking at the history of the Church, martydom has solved many problems, but schism has never solved anything.
If your church is powerless, you should consider finding another one.
This has nothing to do with which church is best. You have to be involved in your own community and that limits people to choose from what is available where they live. The insane number of denominations already drives wedges into our communities. Those wedges have divided our people for generations, even centuries. Churches can promote a social order or they can destroy social cohesion, but either way they're a means to connect to those around you.

What if you do not know Latin?
Ask to borrow a missal. It has everything in Latin and in English. I only use mine to read the readings and prayers for the day though. You pick up the prayers in Latin pretty quick if you're already Catholic.
Also, not gonna lie, the high Mass that is sung is mind bending. Usually by around Thursday I find myself looking forward to Sunday.
The bulk of the prayers are done silently. There is a learning curve but you can park basically anywhere on that curve and still worship God in a fitting way. Whereas in the New Mass there isn't a learning curve, and everyone has to be exactly on the same page. The Old Mass is very freeing in this regard. Want to just kneel in the back the whole time and talk to God? Great. Want to follow the readings in a handmissal? Great. Want to learn Latin and memorize everything the priest prays silently? Knock yourself out. None of these approaches to assisting at Mass is superior to another, so long as you make an intention to join yourself with the sacrificing priest. It's not "one size fits all" like the New Mass where your every movement and response is dictated. In this way the Old Mass is actually far superior for families, because Mom or Dad can leave for a little bit with the wailing infant and bring their worship with them while they're outside. But in the New Mass if you miss the offertory procession or the Our Father because you had to step out, it's like you seriously missed out on part of your worship.
(Should also point out that we English speakers are very lucky to have a faithful translation of the New Mass into English. But a lot of countries that don't speak English have very liberal or shoddy translations. Latin always prevented that and was a unifying factor. We often forget though that the New Mass isn't the "English Mass"; it's a Latin text translated, sometimes very sloppily, into dozens of languages.)
