If you read my comment, they're still doing it to this day... for twitter follows.
Those prosperity preachers are terrible and utterly refuted by the people I follow.
The Catholic Church was not created by Jesus. Do you really think that if Jesus were to design a church that it'd be the Catholic Church? You should think about that one.
And if I did go Catholic, I'd just be a "convert" right? Yet another barrier between me and God.
You can keep running away too buddy, from logic that is. I don't recommend it.
The modern conciliar "Catholic" church is just as heretical as every protestant sect. There's a difference between the Catholic Church as an organization and the Catholic Church as an institution. The former is corruptible, the latter is infallible. "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I shall build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." You need to do some more reading on Church history and theology, the Catholic Church is the only reason you have a Bible in the first place.
I've done more than my fair share of comparing and contrasting. I'm good.
Keep your prayers to Mary and the Saints, I'll pray to Jesus.
edit: oh yeah, you're also begging the question on that verse about Peter being "the rock". Just because you believe it because you were told to doesn't make it true.

Matthew 16:8 - And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
You are arguing with Christ Himself.
