There are problem with TLM and problems with Novus Ordo. I attend both. But TLM is still an approved form of mass, yes.
If that changes, we'll see if you guys schism or not. So far I have my doubts that the Latin/Mary worshiping crowd will follow Christ if that form is ended.
If you actually want to talk about this I am open but I entirely reject pretty much your entire comment as wrong, and given previous experience with these disagreements I don’t want to waste either of our time.
Perhaps being fellow pedes will overcome most of the problems these convos usually encounter. Unsure.
I will sum up my stance this way - sometimes being faithful to Christ means submitting to corrupt authority. Even unto death. Martydom is a heavy price, but it does a lot. Nothing inspires reform and restoration like the blood of innocents. Running away does nothing, neither does assuming false authority. Looking at the history of the Church, martydom has solved many problems, but schism has never solved anything.
Well, TLM is, you know, the mass that converted the entire world. So I view it less as a retreat and more as a rearmament.
