If I was in your situation with a friend like this, I would do the same thing that I think you're going to try to do - probe and ease and carefully prod to see if she has or can start making the connections necessary to understand what's going on.

They genuinely had no idea what was happening, the brainwashing was deep and continuous for all of trump's term and they made sure to hammer on that a vote for trump was a vote for hitler and how biden was practically a savior. Covering every fault. If they don't seek out alternatives or know they exist then they didn't stand a chance against it.
