Get a phone tree with every gun owner in your area. When they come hold them up as long as possible until the cavalry comes in.

DarkDrai 64 points ago +68 / -4

This is the way.

Phone trees predate mass texting where person can blast out 20 batches of 20 texts in a few minutes and keep going, but with cancel culture and censorship, the old ways may be needed.

For this type of communication, use a 'forest' not a single tree.

Summary: Forests use groups of 'trees' and route around censorship and other damage.

If you only have a dozen or so fellow pedes in your phone, that's all they can discover when they seize it. It means you only need to personally vet a small number of people and not have strangers, shills and glowies in your local 'tree.'

The key to a "Forest" is to be a member of 2 or 3 related 'trees' and each tree should have 2 or 3 members who are members of others, and so on.

A 'forest' moves the message a little more slowly, but adds redundancy, eliminates single points of failure including deliberate damage like censorship and adds in some security.

Set up before you need to use it and use for routine messages about once a month or when membership changes over a certain level.

Trees can use their own communication protocol, for example using digital mode radios like APRS, Beartooth or GoTenna. Members in more than one tree can use SMS on one side and something else on the other and act as bridges.

If your group is small enough that the Forest isn't needed and you opt for a single dimensional call tree, where one calls two and the process repeats, the bottom row of the tree should call back to the top, so the top knows the message made it through to the end, and can tell where it dropped based on who didn't call back.

DarkDrai 15 points ago +15 / -0

I was going to say it's like when family members call each other to relay when someone's died or something, but you've added some extra elements for security and redundancy that I like a lot, like having the "tree" loop back on itself to confirm that information has been properly disseminated.

No it isn't... This is like when you have a big family, and someone dies, so you call your sister so she can call your cousins on your mom's side, while you call your brother and cousins on your dad's side, and they each call other people they know until the news has reached the entire family. You only made a small handful of phone calls, but the funeral has dozens if not hundreds of people. This is the same principal.

Gun bans and confiscations will not be SWAT teams going door to door in every house in the country.

They will be more insidious. Force people to comply or hide and bury their guns and never talk about them or be able to use or train with them. They'll set up reward programs to rat out those who didn't comply. People who got ratted out will be made an example of, with their door kicked down and it shown on the media, to scare others.

That effectively would kill the 2nd amendment. Our enemies have patience. Then when you die your children or grandchildren will turn them into the government.

11
JuicyfearsMAGA 11 points ago +11 / -0

This is exactly right, and sadly person below you is right. 90% of law-abiding owners will voluntarily turn them in. Especailly if there is some buyback. The remaining 10 will face arrest or forced confiscation. This is literally their plan that they've publicly talked and written about.

5
MAGA1775 5 points ago +7 / -2

I don't think it will be as high as 90% of them turning them in. Maybe similar numbers to Australia, but a good chunk will because they will be terrified of being ratted out or discovered and made a felon and lose everything.

But they don't need everyone to turn them in. They just need to create enough fear that it effectively neuters gun rights. They are perfectly fine if 40%-50% of gun owners just hide and bury their guns. They'll get most of those over the next few generations.

There is going to be no revolt or revolution either like some people think if they do this. They just stole our right to vote and our 1st amendment rights and nothing happened. It will be the same when they come after the guns and 2nd amendment

3
JuicyfearsMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

My 90 may be a bit of a doomer number. I do think it'll be around 10 percent that actively resist and end up rested or worse. I get my 90 who showed zero resistance from the covid lockdowns, to masking up, to losing many of our bill of rights

They don't have to do it all at once. They will start with other measures and will only do the confiscations strategically where they know they can succeed. Start in blue cities/states and slowly move out.

Anyway, neither will happen. The first few instances and it will be 100% open rebellion and no more online discussions.

Gun confiscation = mass arrests & genocide. We must NEVER allow ourselves to be disarmed! Better to start a civil war than to disarm and be defenceless!

7
Walt_Kowalski 7 points ago +8 / -1

They don't have enough troops to roll into very many towns "20K strong." If they invite foreign troops it's on like Donkey Kong. It's a LOT easier to kill a foreign occupier than a fellow American.

6
LockNload 6 points ago +7 / -1

Foreign occupiers shall not last long. Examples will be set. Patriots will be flocking to end that shit.

5
Angerisagift 5 points ago +5 / -0

Have seen the Obama era partnership with California. Feds gave money to form local “task force” to conduct field interviews and conduct confiscations from people deemed to belong on the prohibited person’s index. This list includes not just felons and people with outstanding warrants, but men who had been reported to be abusive by women (no conviction mind you) and anyone deemed by a health professional to potentially be a danger to themselves or others (think depression, PTSD etc.). The two man teams show up at known addresses and threaten whomever answers the door to surrender all firearms (they already have serial #s for some, but explain the danger/legal jeopardy of any weapons). You can be at work, on vacation, in the hospital, you name it- and your property is confiscated. You’re told that in the cases where no crime had been adjudicated you can fight in court for restoration of rights and property, but in a state like California it’s very costly and nearly impossible. One more kicker, the idiots handling this will make the citizen seem dangerous by going to all listed addresses within a day even when a relative already complied and turned in weapons.

They won’t need to do all that. Look at the mask mandates. It will be something like that.

12
hansgruber7 12 points ago +13 / -1

Yes, exactly right. I know people who tell me they will die before anyone takes their guns, but these same people faithfully wear their masks outside even though they know it's BS. I don't believe it.

7
D0NNIE_DARK0 7 points ago +7 / -0

2A is the line in the sand though. Once the guns are gone, the terror will commence.

7
zooty 7 points ago +7 / -0

That line keeps moving. 2A is on the ropes.

3
wiombims 3 points ago +3 / -0

Exactly. Somehow, gun owners always find a convenient excuse for why they're not politically active, why they don't vote, why they don't call, why they don't protest, why they don't take sides, why they don't defend their rights. And it's always talk talk talk and where's the action? Somehow, it always falls on a group of dedicated people who know what they're doing to carry the water for millions of people. And worst of all, most gun owners just do not give a damn about firearms ownership. They'll rate "firearms" as a compromise issue time and time again and make fun of the "single issue morons".

1
D0NNIE_DARK0 1 point ago +1 / -0

That’s what people don’t realize because they’re not familiar with how this happens.

The people that are coming - this is their job. They are being paid to do this. We have to conduct our lives, go to work, eat, pay bills, support our families...

They will study you for weeks or months. Find the time when you’re sleeping or most off guard and then show up in a way where you either comply or let them kill you.

The neighbor appears? Nice of him, but he’s going down, too. This LARPing bullshit only makes sense when the enemy has no bite to their bark. These people are anything but that. You beat this politically.

Hard truth: the second they pass a law, no matter how outrageous, most normies will just accept it. Even if they disagree with it, they’ll do a quick cost/benefit analysis and decide their comfy lifestyle is not worth giving up. The media then uses the population’s acceptance as a basis to separate and marginalize any objectors. (Spez: the ‘objectors’ are the normal people)

I like the way you think, but there will be no shooting from behind trees - they will already know how and where to get the colonists in a way that cuts them hardest (denial of access to resources to just shooting them). DJT just spent 4 years re-upping the military. Now they have that, if they need it. Do you think they care about whether LEO is safe?

This is a completely different dynamic. You have to recognize it as such and plan appropriately.

2
wiombims 2 points ago +3 / -1

No, they won't. Show me! Pick out where people went liberty or death on gun control laws in the past 100 years. All I see, and this isn't "dooming" pede, it's reality, is people constantly accepting more and more gun control. Sometimes gun control gets rolled back. One step forward, two steps back. The worst part of it is people like you who talk like this NEVER EVER EVER. Read my lips, EVER, show up to support people who actually try to push against gun control. Now you'll get mad and throw a hissy fit and you STILL won't put your money where your mouth is. You'll just get angry that you got called out. You've already lost 90% of your "guns" and you're still talking about sacrificing everything.

1
wiombims 1 point ago +2 / -1

Where do you see these people who aren't gullible rolling back gun control? It's a net loss every congressional session. Democrats and Republicans team up together to kill pro-gun bills in committee, not pass favorable gun laws, not repeal gun control and once in a while you lose a whole state to massive gun control.

1
Angerisagift 1 point ago +1 / -0

I like your spirit.

Just as a factual matter, incrementalism has been crushing the 2nd A here in the most populous state. They go after it from so many angles bit by bit. They have expanded rationales for confiscation. Increased the costs of guns and ammo. Restricted greatly where one can shoot.

3
wat_meme 3 points ago +3 / -0

We used to used a phone tree for prayer requests at church. Everyone that wants to be a part of the phone tree gives their number and a "tree" is formed. One point person calls 2-3 people that calls their assigned 2-3 people.

I think what you would need is a swarm like or pod like set, where you every pod is redundant covered so if any pod is alerted, all the others get covered.

3
zooty 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you're not using hard end-to-end encryption, you're already compromised. And probably are even if you do. It's not an unsolvable issue but the state has very impressive levels of technology at their disposal.

5
Angerisagift 5 points ago +5 / -0

You know how the Afghans stayed ahead of the Soviets and Americans? By being so far behind the high tech advantage was actually an expensive distraction. Think couriers. Think old school codes.

2
zooty 2 points ago +2 / -0

They had a distinct territorial advantage too but yes, that kind of thing.

4
800080 4 points ago +4 / -0

True, but in this case, code phrases can be enough.

"Father Murphy is in the hospital" is an innocent enough message and can mean something else. If the good Father dies, it means the situation got worse, reverse if he 'gets well'. Obviously do not use the above scenario, make up your own.

Encryption is designed to slow down 3rd parties long enough until the message doesn't matter any more not forever.

3
zooty 3 points ago +3 / -0

Code phrases are great. Sometimes you need more elaborate communications though.

I'm not saying communication isn't possible, I'm just saying be wary about what you consider safe.

There were idiots there who beat a cop to death, tried to kill at least another cop and ran side by side with Antifa and hardcore glowies into congress. I'm not sure idiot is quite nice enough for that. There's a point where it's not even idiocy, it's actively working to destroy the side which actually showed up to protest. That happened by breaching capitol when Trump was speaking. That wasn't "just" stupidity. That was undermining the President of the United States and working with the politicians who had pre-written terrorism statements. I would ask what kind of moron trusts a policeman when they're "invited" into a terrorism charge but the dopes found out. The American people don’t support the globalist agenda and we represent the largest share of the population, for now.

They are going to populate us out of existence. Look at what happened in MN and MI from about 2004-2016. Population displacement with people who showed up for the gibs.

It would be great to have a leader. It would be great to have a political party.

6
D0NNIE_DARK0 6 points ago +7 / -1

I was shocked to read the population statistics for just a few cities. You don’t even need to take the whole state. The larger the city the more power it can yield on the rural areas. Jefferson’s desire for more Americans to live off the land is starting to make more sense.

3
wiombims 3 points ago +3 / -0

Everyone should own one acre of land. Everyone should vote where that acre of land is located. Just like it used to be. Man, woman, black, white, trans colored whatever all land owners with a stake in the nation and franchise in their claim.

0
Angerisagift 0 points ago +2 / -2

Living out in Monticello off the land is a lot easier when you’re also living off debt and other people’s backs.

Respect the achievements of the Founders, but maybe realize they too were imperfect people. We still have brave Americans.

1
D0NNIE_DARK0 1 point ago +1 / -0

Look I’ve never been a huge fan of Jefferson (he’s not liked by a lot of Texans) for a million reasons but the small plot of land idea is legit.

It provides rootedness and skin in the game. There’s room to raise a family which are the building blocks of a community and a hedge against the State. That independence is why the Democrats denied black people their acres and a mule Republicans were ready to oblige.

With these big cities you get all these different groups on the dole with a lack of ownership and pride in their place and more dependency on the state bureaucracy.

I know the Founders are imperfect but their ideas are worth revisiting. There’s no need to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I agree! This is also my idea, well more generally to make it incredibly easy to vote. I don't even care if it makes it easier for the other side to vote. If they're legally entitled to vote, they should! And if we lose elections that way, so be it. I want every LEGAL voter to count and I want to open up an app on my phone and see:

  1. local elections, who's running, what their platform is and what their RECORD is
  2. one click sign up as a republican/democrat/independent poll watcher
  3. how to sign up to be in leadership at a voting precinct and links to how those precincts are established
  4. contact information for ALL my representatives (dog-catcher to president) and maximum 3 clicks between when I open the app and when I'm emailing a congresscritter
  5. state elections with the same information as local
  6. federal elections with the same information as local
  7. information on which positions this elected official APPOINTS so you know when you're voting for somebody which 3 other positions you're also filling with that vote
  8. one click to put you in touch with someone locally who can help you get to the polls or whatever if you have difficulty

Agreed with you on all points. Streamlined, patriotic, follows the minimum click rule.

When a few patriots pop some gun grabbers, what do you think the media is going to do with that story? I’ll tell you - they’ll bury it (unlikely) or amplify it as “domestic terrorism, a threat that must be stopped at any cost!” Then they send in even more reinforcements.

There is some good information here, so I wouldn't write it off. Organize locally with family, friends, and conservative neighbors. Form a neighborhood defense group. Use, " Resistance to Tyranny" by Col Joseph Martino as a guide. ( you can purchase it or even download the PDF)

5

We need a list of what they've done to us that we keep adding to.

6
VoidWanderer 6 points ago +6 / -0

I'm aware of that, I just like pointing out how similar the leadup to it has been to what's going on now so people get their heads on straight about what's happening. Taxation without representation, killings of people that speak up, being labeled as terrorists, etc.

It's still going to take time, but I doubt it'll take us as long as it took them because information didn't travel as fast back then so outrage over actions spread slower than it does now.

ConsrvspkgNJ 22 points ago +22 / -0

Fuck this, you want the truth? Patriots, yes Patriots invaded the Capitol and look how fast Republicans, Conservatives and Normies tripped over themselves to decry the actions of those Patriots. Americans should have stood up as one and told Congress "Fuck you, if you don't like it go fuck yourself and if you don't straighten your shit out...we will be back with even larger numbers next time." But alas, Biden's Gestapo will start grabbing up Patriots and the first Patriot who shoots back will be decried as a domestic terrorist and the Sheep will all get in line to bleat their condemnation of domestic terror.

8
KamalasStench 8 points ago +8 / -0

The biggest problem imo with the 6th was that nobody had a plan. And I don't say that to be accusatory; I understand because it looked like everyone there was waiting for PDJT to give the word, and had gone there in the first place largely thinking that he would. Even a truly organic movement needs leadership, otherwise it ends up like another Occupy Wallstreet which ultimately changed nothing.

(Incidentally, I saw a documentary from the first Occupy event where a former soviet citizen was going around trying to find out why people were there, what they hoped to accomplish, etc., and the only real answer he got was from some pseudo-organizers who were using the event to figure out how best to motivate/recruit people to a cause... I wish I could find it again because it was very telling.)

6
Marzieattaks 6 points ago +7 / -1

There was one guy on a megaphone on the scaffolding yelling for the crowd to go in and "take back your country" "don't let them take it away" it brought people up to the front from the back lines it went on for hours. I look back now and wished I would have organized a few to pull him down but honestly we did not know what was going on inside and I thought it was strange no one was in charge organizing the "event" so many things don't make sense about that day but honestly it was a beautiful day I will never forget. 99.9% was a great day.

1
ConsrvspkgNJ 1 point ago +1 / -0

But that lack of organization is what terrified the Deep State into turning the Capitol Complex into a Supermax. If a bunch of Patriots screaming down USA USA USA at the Ellipse can get fired up enough to march north on the Capitol, make entry and steal Pelosi's lectern....imagine what can happen if a bunch of Patriots actually come up with a plan to take and hold the building. No, that lack of organization was what made the thing so powerful.

You do know Trump himself said "protest peacefully" on January 6, right? He had enough people there that could have taken the capitol - violently, if necessary - and held it for a long time. All he had to do was give the word and those (VERY ANGRY) people would have done it for him.

Q isn't pacifying anything. Trump is about "law and order" and always has been. The single most powerful entity on the planet is the right wing American Gun Owner. Anything that happens in this country happens because they(we) allow it to happen.

Read that again.

ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THIS COUNTRY HAPPENS BECAUSE THE RIGHT WING GUN OWNER ALLOWS IT TO HAPPEN.

If organized, short of nukes, there is nothing on this planet that could stop them(us). It's a potential army of 70(20 million who are ex military) million people(probably more). That's an army of over a million per state. Let's say only 10% participated. Suppose an organized militia of a "mere" 100,000 decided to take Sacramento? Who's going to stop them? We just watched 25,000 NG shut down DC and I guarantee there are many on this site who have as good if not better equipment than them.

My point is this: The reason we haven't risen up and started a civil war is because Trump has specifically told us not to.

BECAUSE THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THESE SCUMBAGS WANT.

3
BroadSunlitUplands 3 points ago +3 / -0

“ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THIS COUNTRY HAPPENS BECAUSE THE RIGHT WING GUN OWNER ALLOWS IT TO HAPPEN.”

If this is true then right wing gun owners have a lot to feel guilty about.

1
fat50 1 point ago +1 / -0

Maybe they just don't realize it?

4
BroadSunlitUplands 4 points ago +4 / -0

Maybe it’s just all talk, like it was with the election being stolen without consequence.

The globalists absolutely don’t want a civil war if they can subjugate everyone without one, which they have already succeeded in. The ‘right wing American Gun Owner’ is not the most powerful entity on the planet, because that bluff has now been called. The political establishment isn’t going to go back to being afraid (if they ever were) now they know for certain there’s nothing to be afraid of.

If they really do come for people’s guns they will 200% in fact start the next revolutionary war. Bc people will not stand for that. I for one know that if they come lookin for my guns theyre gonna have a fairly hard time in obtaining them. Take that how u like, but that will be the straw that breaks the patriots back if u ask me. Something they should very much realize is that there is more than enough guns and ammo in this country possessed by enough people with enough balls to take that kind of a stand.

Dear democrat criminals, Tread very lightly. Your next move or so could determine YOUR fate.

I've said this before, and if I've considered this then you know the government types have too. No one is coming for your guns. No one. They don't have to. You're going to put them in a box and take them to your local sheriff's office. At least most will.

They know you, they have your purchase records, arguably even the NICS checks that they "don't keep". If they knew enough about you to "come after your guns", then they already know pretty well what you may have.

So all they do is send you a notice to deliver them, when and where. If you don't comply, they'll simply shut you down. Electricity, gas, water, phone, cable, internet, bank accounts, credit cards, ATM access. "No trouble citizen, simply deliver the firearms as requested and we'll turn it all back on again.". Oh, you'll get along for a short time, but unless you're a serious rural prepper type you won't go long without any services. They won't go all Ruby Ridge on many people, since they won't have to.

That's all it takes. Most of us are quite dependent on external services.

2
befehlistbefehl 2 points ago +2 / -0

If you don't comply, they'll simply shut you down. Electricity, gas, water, phone, cable, internet, bank accounts, credit cards, ATM access.

Bad move on their part. Now they just guaranteed that I would be coming to slaughter them, whereas otherwise I might have simply left my guns buried. A few reprisal attacks on soft targets will make them sorry they ever did such a thing.

1
Yianni1955 1 point ago +1 / -0

A lot of great commentary on this site. Since most of us agree that gun confiscation is coming at some point, let's get ourselves ORGANIZED at the local city level and have some plans and options ready as to how we are going to deal with it. Let's not wait until they start kicking down our doors!

1
10MeV 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well sure, that's a natural impulse. But who are you going to "go after"? Your bank teller? Branch manager? Someone at the sheriff's office? Where exactly do you go to exact your vengeance?

2
befehlistbefehl 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes.

2
muslimporn 2 points ago +2 / -0

Very few people, even us who understand more than most know how the world really works. This meme for example is not satire but that's what gulags are really like. In communism everyone is demotivated to work so they end up having to make people work somehow. How? They put the criminals to work. Not enough criminals? You can easily make more rules or ramp up enforcement.

It's sort of like how people don't realise that in North Korea the people who end up starving in the camps do so as once starvation is normal in the system people are selected to starve and it's the criminals that go first.

They are going to take away your guns. One way or another.

It's not what you think though. They don't care about guns. It's who has them. Many aren't going to go straight all out no more 2A. It'll be redflag laws then take away the guns of for example if a bunch of neighbours point out one wearing a MAGA hat.

Specifically one side will be disarmed. That's how it always is. Look at the origin of the Bill of Rights. Similar situation. They'll disarm their rivals first. It starts out like forum bans. You shave off the 5% of the worst. Then the next 5%, then the next. Before you know it half your people are gone.

They'll just say get rid of N amount of arms per citizen each month and start at the bottom as those are the most easily justified. Same as with one moment they're taking out Alex Jones at the bottom and then within the blink of an eye they've reached the top and are taking out Donald Trump.

2
10MeV 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good analysis. That makes sense. My comment was intended to be more about "how" they'll do it, but for the "who" I think you're right on.

1
muslimporn 1 point ago +1 / -0

The worst thing is you know all these guns they're going to start collecting? Where do you think they'll end up?

Hint: Syrian "rebels".

1
NoMoreMao 1 point ago +1 / -0

The trick is proving I still have them.

2
10MeV 2 points ago +2 / -0

Perhaps. But still, if they are convinced enough to "come for them", they'd just issue the suspension orders until you provide proof of disposition somehow. The burden will always be on you. "Boating accident" probably won't be good enough, unless you provide an insurance claim or some other proof.

I dunno, I'm not nefarious enough to think like they do. But knowing how they'll do it, you con think of various scenarios

1
NoMoreMao 1 point ago +1 / -0

I can stil sells guns to individuals without any form of receipt or background check.

1
10MeV 1 point ago +1 / -0

For sure. Absolutely. There are a small percentage of weapons transferred and owned that way. Most of the criminals get theirs that way, apart from the ones that directly steal them.

1
10MeV 1 point ago +1 / -0

Follow-on thought... if they do decide to literally come take them, it will be with serious intent.

It'll be at 3am. They'll be sure to have CNN cameras nearby and rolling. They'll line up a tactical stack on your porch, breach and enter. Any resistance will be suppressed with prejudice. All in HD, body cams, and so on.

The rest of the public will see the event, the talking heads will furrow their brows at this terrible result of a citizen failing to comply with a simple public safety request to turn in their firearms. So, citizens, for the safety of you and your neighbors, your family, be sure to comply and turn in your firearms upon request.

This won't devolve into lengthy stand-offs. It will be blitzkrieg, live in HD.

I saw someone print an AR lower in PLA plastic, compensating for metal-casting shrink factor, and cast it in aluminum made from recycled cans. Took some doing, but it did work. I'm not sure it was much easier than just machining one from aluminum billet.

Presently there's no easy way to 3D print a rifle. You can still buy all the parts but a lower for an AR online, and there are various DIY ways to make lowers (the registered part of an AR).
